Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Its an Airport Hotel Its a place to sleep at airport prices. All the hotels in this block at Midway are about the same price so you are stuck. Its a little overpriced and they fail to tell you about all the hidden Chicago taxes. May 28, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Genuine hospitality I find normally when staying at an airport property, for the most part, the traveler is not here for fun. i.e. vacation, site seeing visiting friends. No, unfortunate there away from home and he or she is here for work or business. They normally just got off a long flight they dreaded and now have to stay away from home, in a hotel they don’t want to be at. There tiered, hungry, grumpy and wore out. Well the two young ladies I meet here at the front desk made my trip almost enjoyable. I had made a reservation at the wrong hotel and tried to fix it only to be mistakenly (I think) hung up on. Sandy took over and in minuets had it all straightened out and changed my reservation without penalty. She went out of her way to help and didn’t have to do that. Sadly not many would. Both Sandy and Elise were just a welcome pleasure added to a stress filled day. They greeted me like a friend. Of course recognized my IHG membership and they were genuinely happy with smiles that are contagious. It ladies like these two that make traveling better so much that you almost look forward to doing it again. I travel way too much and I can attest that unfortunately, ladies like this are far and few between. Customer service is not what it used to be. I’m not sure who the Hotel Manager is here but whoever you are, HOLD ON TO these two ladies! There an asset to the Hotel, IHG and the hospitality industry. Even early the next morning Jill (night audit) was out front when needed, plesent and helpful. I look forward to coming back. May 26, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Won't be Staying here again. We had food in our room and the hotel maid took it upon herself to discard it. I complained and the manager did see fit to look into it. The shuttle to the airport deliberately passed us by and we spent 45 minutes waiting for shuttle that allegedly comes every 20 minutes. Other places have not treated us so shabbily. But what do we know--we are only the customers who payed everything in advance. Yes, we paid money for that crummy treatment. May 25, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GREAT service We happened to stay here after finding out our connecting flight was cancelled. We were provided a list of hotels in the immediate area and told they may have a "distress" rate. I called almost every single one on the list and only Sandy offered us any sort of discounted rate.....I should mention we were traveling with our father, a 91 yr old WWII veteran, so had also asked for senior or military discounts if there was no distress discount. I called Sandy back to confirm the rate and was then passed to reservations. Reservations had to put me on hold to confirm the rate. Imagine our surprise when the desk clerk was Sandy!!!! What an exemplary employee!!!! She assigned us a very suitable room, and continued to endure our requests for additional items - extra covers, bottled water, wifi assistance. She made us feel like we were the only guests at the hotel! We were incredibly impressed with her, the hotel and our room. Our stay was just overnight and the staff that greeted us the next morning we equally pleasant and helpful. The shuttle service was prompt, the driver courteous. We would definitely stay here again, and although we've been loyal to another chain in the past, we would definitely consider other HI accommodations! THANK YOU, SANDY!! April 29, 2016
