Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good experience My stay was good. I stayed one night and left my car for a week while on vacation. I flew out of Midway. It was very convenient in location. The shuttle was very easy and runs every 20-30 minutes. The hotel was clean and nice. The parking lot was fenced in and I had no problems with my car on return. They had a simple breakfast in the lobby, but I didn't have time to use it. The lady at the desk couldn't have been nicer and was very helpful. I would definitely stay there again if I fly out of Midway. My brother and his family have stayed there and recommended it to me also. 13 July 2013

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Why is the no coffee? The room rate was off the charts compared to the same hotel and room at other locations where I travel. I understand that the location has a great deal to do with room rates which is fine but I did not think that the poor quality of the service would be the result of paying more! There was never any freash coffee after Breakfast. There were no choices for oatmeal in the morning. Most days I took the last two. It was not like it was late in the morning. In most cases i was one of the first one down in morning. I have never had this poor of service from another HIX in all there years. I will not stay there again, and will be leaving a suggestion with our travel Dept as others travel in the area that they too will want to look else where for accomodations. Thank you 24 June 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by As always, great stay! Thanks to Liz and her hard work, I never missed a breakfast. With the number of guests, I was a bit concerned with having breakfast before leaving for work. She was able to keep up with the volume and made sure there was plenty of items available, including my favorite of sausage gravy & biscuits. If I was to change one thing, it would be to have cookies made in the afternoons like Anchorage and Seattle North Shore properties. I remember walking in to those sites and being greeted with the welcoming smell of fresh baked cookies. It brings back memories of coming home from school to Grandma having cookies ready before starting homework. After reading some of the reviews at these sites, that is one perk that guests remembered. They may be missing out on creating a lasting impression by doing these in the mornings. Just a suggestion though, I still grab a cookie no matter when they were made. :-) 19 June 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Coming to the "windy city" During our travels from Northern MI to the Panhandle of Florida, we always stop in Chicago to see our daughter and her family, Although they live in the North River area of the Loop, we decided to give this location a try, To avoid the busy interstate we traveled Cicero Ave North to Ogden and went into the city. The location of the Holiday Inn Express is great, the staff was great... We enjoyed our stay there and will be returning again. Holiday Inn family hotels are reliable and secure. 18 May 2013

Normally we would stay at the Holiday Inn-Riverview, but with the points promotion we thought we would try this location. WE found the hotel to be easy to access the city. Actually with parking being a premium in the city, I think were going to return to this Holiday Express. The desk staff were helpful! Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Free shuttle to airport and friendly staff. I stayed in this property for one night due to my early departure flight the following morning. The room I stayed was not sound proof and I can hear other guest in and out from their room during the evening. The receptionist John was friendly and helpful. The price is a bit higher compare to other HI express I stayed at, and beware that there is a village tax added to the bill. Across the street there is a Mexican/Asian restaurant with a very reasonable price menu, if anyone are staying in the area, I recommend you to check it out. 19 April 2013

We used our priority club rewards night and they were able to upgrade us to a jacuzzi room - very big and nice! Hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Clean rooms, shuttle to the airport, breakfast included. Mattresses left a little to be desired, but the sheets and all other furniture was nice. 06 March 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good experience I arrived late at night, was flying out of Midway on a 6 am flight, and this hotel was convenient. That and appeared clean..... Other than that, I don't have much to add that is positive. $$ to park a car in the lot. It was cold, snowing hard, with a strong wind. After getting my bag inside and checking in, I had to go BACK out to the car just to put a "parking permit" in the window. Uncaring staff, expensive room rate - just not a good experience. 19 February 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel Great hotel when traveling thru Midway, front desk staff was amazing, i call them when i arrived to Midway and they send the shuttle; shuttle works 24 hrs every 20 min and they drop you off just outside Midway main entrance. Breakfast was good and room was good size. They have a parking option to leave your car there while you are out. 02 January 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by park and fly we were flying to Mexico early in the am, so we drove to Chicago the night before. This hotel is just minutes away from the midway airport. We were able to leave our vehicle in parking lot for the 7 days we were away! Shuttle took us to and from the airport! It was great. Did not have to park a car at an unfamilar airport and worry about the time. Room was nice and clean. Breakfast was set up in time for us to grab a bite and head on out to the shuttle. There was a TGI Fridays close by and we could walk and eat the night before our flight! Would stay here again if the opportunity presents itself! By the way, we had a great time in Mexico! 13 November 2012
