Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Cooperstown Stay The hotel and rooms are very nice. There is nothing that could be improved in that regard. I did find that the staff was not very friendly. I'm used to being greeted when entering and leaving a hotel, here no one said anything each time we passed by the front desk. 17 August 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice hotel but expensive We were pleasantly surprised at the modern look and cleanliness of the hotel, as we rarely stay at Holiday Inn Express. There was 1 issue with a comforter for a pull-out sofa, which the staff resolved. Breakfast was good, though what you would expect from a hotel self-serve breakfast. Mattresses were a little too firm for our tastes, but pillows and bedding were very nice. The room had 2 flat-panel TV's (one in front of each bed), which was great for 2 parents and 1 teen, Very close to Baseball HOF and other attractions and pretty quiet. We enjoyed our stay but did feel it was very expensive, though this may be the norm in this area at this time of year. 16 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great getaway Loved the new look the only issue was that the curtains had a great big ketchup stain on them which was not very appealing. 12 August 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Staff not willing to help with noise in common area disturbing sleep Our room was on the first floor, just next to the common room where breakfast was served. We received a long letter at check-in asking guests to please respect quiet hours from 10 pm to 6 am, among other things. The common room was full of guests who were loud at 9:45 pm when my family was trying to sleep. So I asked the front desk clerk if she would please remind the guests in the common area to keep the noise down at 10:00. She said she couldn't do that; it's part of the brand to make that room available to guests at all hours. So I had to do it myself. The guests were immediately sympathetic when I told them my room was right next door, and they quieted down. But with the sound bouncing around the common area so close to our room, why should I have to do that? And why would the employee explain that the "brand" required her to allow that kind of noise right next to guest rooms at 10:00 pm? The hotel was convenient to Cooperstown and otherwise comfortable, but expensive. The breakfast had very limited healthy choices, like fresh fruit. 11 August 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Surprisingly nice in Cooperstown I've been to the Cooperstown area many times over the past several years (usually for kid tournaments at Dreams Park) and have stayed at a variety of at-best mediocre motels, B&B's, "lodges," etc. This Holiday Inn Express is surprisingly clean, recently renovated, well-lit, and included a fairly good breakfast with many choices. The location is perfect for Dreams Park parents. Staff was competent, expeditious, and very accommodating. Great job Holiday Inn Cooperstown! 07 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Hotel We picked the hotel based on location and availability. We were glad we did. The rooms were quiet, the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was just so-so (but the cinnamon rolls were great!) 06 August 2014
