DON'T STAY IN ROOM 134 The Hotel is normally excellent, and staff are good, However DO NOT be allocated Room 134.. you will not sleep, unless you have poor hearing and can't here the fan, and coolers and vibration through pipework and ducting that you will have to put up with from the plant room directly below it. 27 August 2014

I have to say for a budget basic hotel this one is fantastic and the thing that makes it so is the attitude of the Staff, they are always smiling and nothing is too much for them, whoever run's this hotel should be very proud, as they have a very good team promoting their hotel. The road into the hotel was flooded as it was when we stayed 6 months previously.The problem ought to have been rectified by now. The Shower entrance was a bit tatty. Bacon would have been a great improvement at breakfast.Many people do not eat sausages. 19 August 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Ok. Just ok. Hotel was clean, nice interior, perhaps a little too open though in the lobby / dining area. No bacon at breakfast. This annoyed me somewhat as I'm not keen on sausages. WiFi was a little slow but reception was good throughout the hotel. Didn't ever cut out. Food was really quick, almost too quick - 11 minutes for two courses to be cooked is perhaps unnervingly quick (microwave?). No room service either, not great having to go and pick it up and bring it back to the room myself. And the tray was still outside of my room the following morning, despite me having put it outside at 8-ish in the evening. 12 hours outside. Gross. If you're not driving, don't stay here. It's a nightmare to walk to from Stone Crossing. having to cross motorways etc... 15 August 2014
