Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Visit to Fairchild Gardens We arrived and were pleasantly greeted by the front staff. We had an "other" room which was basically 2 rooms with a cut out between them, 2 kitchens, 2 doors (although only 1 had a room number). It would have been nice if a divider could have been in place, but it would not have been much different than adjoining rooms. Was very comfortable and clean and even though it was near the elevator we never heard it. Water in the bathroom was hot and plentiful. TV was also responsive with a video guide and many channels to choose from. When we arrived a did a quick check of the internet and found a ping rate of 5mS and 15Meg speed. We went out and visited the gardens and returned tired back at the hotel. Around 9PM the internet slowed down to a crawl. When I tried to see the speed I would get a ping rate of 135mS 27x slower than earlier and a download speed of a little more then 1 Meg. Even 1 Meg is ok for the game my wife was trying to play (uses very little data) but the ping rate was the killer. The game kept thinking she was disconnected. At one point even the speed test could not complete when it took over 1 minute for a web page to load. So she got frustrated and just stopped playing. It really would be nice if the "high speed internet" was there when you wanted to use it and not there when you also were not there. Another annoying thing is that the internet disconnects you at exactly midnight and you have to connect again. It would be better if you were connected for 24 hours from when you logged in as some of the other holiday inn hotels do. Using the wireless we were never disconnected so it was not a radio issue, but more likely the router was too slow to handle the traffic and/or firewall/filter was overtaxed. I don't know how full the hotel was, but it did not appear to be overflowing. My bill was under the door when we woke up the next day and was correct; check out was very easy and accurate. Breakfast options were always available as they were refreshed by the staff when getting low. Bananas ran out, but that happens often enuf. Orange juice was out and I mentioned it to the staff member, but it was never refilled so I just had an alternate. May 28, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Nice Comfortable Room My stay at the hotel was as expected. The room was large and comfortable. It was a good location for me. The common areas were neat and warm. On the negative side, I had a couple of occasions when I needed to speak with the housekeeping staff, and they didn't speak any English. Also, I thought the selection and quality of the breakfast was somewhat disappointing. May 19, 2015

The front desk staff was very very courteous and efficient and assigned us a large suite without us having to ask for it. I allmade for a pleasant first day for our florida vacation. May 18, 2015
