Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Business hotel with exceptional staff and services Conveniently located near to the Emory Medical Campus and the US CDC, this my personal standard for how a business hotel should function: 1. Fast and stable wireless internet 2. Good functional desk and work area 3. Simple but nice hot breakfast (included with room) 4. Manager's happy hour 5. Free shuttle service within immediate area - just call and it is there. 6. And most important - wonderful and extremely nice staff: need a box or letter mailed, done; need a taxi at the last minute, done; have a question about the area, answered; problem with your room, solved. Over the past two years, this hotel has won me over for its quiet efficiency and grace. Added bonus - grocery store, banks, and some restaurants all within an easy walk. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice room and close to Emory Hospt My husband recently was in Emory Host for several days . I stayed here and felt very safe staying at this hotel by myself. Room was super nice. Micro in room really helped also. Loved the shuttle service to the Hospt. Emory parking is expensive and parking there is not conveineint. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Last minute hotel arrangements We booked our stay here due to having a family member in the hospital. The hotel was clean and the staff was very accommodating.. The only thing that we could have used was a shuttle to the hospital on the weekend. Instead we took a taxi in which the front desk even set up for us. Everyone from the front desk staff to the woman taking care of the food were exceptional. Would stay here again. 21 October 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by carpet The problem we had was they cleaned the carpets the last day while we were outand most of the floor was soaking wet. We showed it to the attendant and he was kind but didn't offer us another room till 8 at night and my 85 year old mother was already in bed mainly to keep from stepping in the water. It was damp all night to say the least and we were hoarse the next morning and got out of there early. I really think a spill or leak occurred. So the last night was bad. But I like this hotel and stay here when I can. This was just one bad experience. 16 October 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Better than Average The staff were friendly and helpful; the room was large and fairly comfortable. The air conditioning is very noisy. The bathroom had some drywall repairs which had not been completed (painted or re-wall papered) and the joint compound was growing black fuzzy mold. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Customer Service Overall, the hotel was fine; however, I usually stay at holiday inn expresses when I travel but this time encountered a few issues. For off, I was traveling for business and called ahead, 3 days in advance, to ask if I could do an early check in. I was told it wouldn't be a problem, but when I arrived there was no notation of my request and as such, I had to wait 45 minutes for a room. Then I needed a late check out due to meetings and asked the staff at the front desk, who told me it was no problem. However, they neglected to pass the information along to housekeeping, as I had housekeeping come to my door 3 separate times within a 30 minutes span to ask me when I was leaving. It was very disorganized and while I appreciate the ability to check in early and check out late, it would have been nice to not have to deal with the issues that caused. 07 October 2014

My room was spacious and very clean. It was wonderful having hot breakfast served daily. I was in town for a business meeting. I was dropped off and picked up by the Hotel Shuttle Bus. The drivers were nice and drove with caution. 02 October 2014

Room was clean, staff was very friendly, and the beds were comfortable. The travel time to downtown was actually pretty quick from here. Didn't take me very long to get anywhere around town from here. The only con was the in-room air conditioner constantly running. It was loud and very powerful. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hotel Staff Salem, your shuttle service driver was fantastic! He is an asset to this property! I waited 45-50 minutes for the shuttle pick-up at Emory Hospital. I called the hotel 3 times for pick-up. Salem, apologized profusely, even thou the front desk attendant neglected to give him the message. Salem, went out of his way to give me driving directions back home. This is something I will never forget. I had just left Emory hospital where an immediate family member had surgery. Salem's calming guidance was much appreciated. 09 September 2014

My only complaints were some climate issues in the room, which the staff was very responsive to; the TV was temperamental; and there were no drapes to draw over my window to block out the bright emergency lights from the parking lot.
