Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Oasis during a long hard trip Have stayed here every time during trips from JRTC and Hampton Roads. It is the midway point for two twelve hour road days. Convenient location, attentive and genuine staff, clean comfortable beds in a great room for a great price. Will stay again next trip. 20 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Phenomenal service, clean facility, highly knowledgeable During my stay Carla, manager on staff, went over and beyond to make me feel at home. She provided methods of a third party booking the room, credit card authorization form for my employer in hopes of an extended stay (3 months), conveyed apartment, malls, and local restaurant details, as well as how to avoid traffic, etc. Lastly, she offered a cold or hot beverage during my wait, greeted me by name each time I exited/entered the hotel, and most of all made me feel at home. Carla is certainly an asset to Holiday Inn Express, and would highly recommend my stay due to interaction with her, and other helpful staff members. 06 August 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by wedding party Noisy air conditioning unit in room. Wedding party slammed doors until 2 in the morning. Staff was unresponsive during check in with only one person accepting newcomers while another person just looked at us. 05 August 2014

The location was very convenient to interstate, restaurants, mall, Wal-Mart, movies, etc. The hotel is an older one but it is well maintained and clean. The room amenities are adequate but not as nice as those of the hotels built the last 5 years. 04 August 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 AC did not work Although the room was clean, the AC did not work. We could not change rooms as we were told the hotel was full, so it was too hot to sleep well. We were not greeted as IHG members, nor were we given a receipt at check out. We were told it would be emailed to us but we have yet to get it, so we don't even know if we were charged what we should have been. 30 July 2014
