Breakfast was pretty good. it was a pretty good stay overall. would recommend anyone to stay there. was not able to enjoy the pool or work out room, but they looked adequate, and enjoyable. Better without kids. Bedroom was stinky. Should've had febreze. Overall good though. Thumbs up. October 2, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by friendly staff. poor housekeeping We were forced to sleep in a smoking room our first night, that was supposed to be non-smoking. Our room was never cleaned properly, and we both experienced spider bites. The hotel management is very friendly and helpful, but they need to get on top of the cleanliness issue. This is an older facility which is fine, if it is kept up and clean. September 23, 2015

The facility, and room occupied, appear to be due for a modernization upgrade. I'm not sure if the remodeling process is already underway, in other parts of the structure. September 16, 2015

As a frequent guest at many Holiday Inn express locations I was extremely disappointed in the lack of quality housekeeping at the Chicago Downers Grove location simple things that you would think were routine like emptying the trash, setting up the complimentary coffee along with Kleenex and toilet paper. I guess if you are trying to cut corners this may be a start. At check out we were compensated 1 night stay from our 7 night stay but I would not recommend this location to anyone thinking of visiting this area. September 16, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Comfortable but too noisy The hotel looks fine and the main hall was good enough to welcome all guests. However, a guest room was not that quite to sleep. I stayed in the first floor but we can't even open the window cotton in the morning because the room is facing the parking lot (too many people might be able to see inside in the morning) Elite sapphire member might be offered to a room upgrade service.
