Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Just don't I frequently have to travel with business and stay often in various hotels so I think I can fairly describe this hotel as shocking. I was given a room on the first floor - everything at first appeared to be clean, new and tidy. At 5 o clock in the morning however, I realised my room was above the kitchen as the kitchen extractor fans were switched on which made my room impossibly noisy and definintely not helpful for trying to get back to sleep again once I'd been woken up. The bathroom, I'm a man with short hair, so I know that the long hairs on the walls of the shower and on the floor were definitely not mine. Breakfast - this must be the worst choice of food I've ever seen at a breakfast - simply forgettable and off very poor quality. I complained as I checked out only to be told that the next time I stayed I would be given a quiet room - my reply was that all rooms should be quiet and clean! No further compensation was offered despite being told that she would speak to management and call me later. I did not receive any further calls. 25 July 2014

Drinks were a little more expensive than we expected but it was our first night in UK and found prices were on par with other UK hotels. 20 July 2014
