Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great service from Friendly staff On arrival we had a very quick and efficient check-in. the staff asked us about the reason for our stay and is there anything we would need during that time. We had to go out of the hotel for last minute essentials and were always acknowledge no matter how busy they were. Very central location and at a reasonable price which included a buffet breakfast. Highly recommended 23 December 2014

The bedroom was clean and comfy and the breakfast was very good, also the staff were very friendly. We would certainly return if we came to Edinburgh again, and would recommend the hotel to friends. 20 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent, Edinburgh Hotel Needed a central Edinburgh hotel, for a single night with available parking. The Holiday Inn Express fitted the bill at a very reasonable rate with breakfast. Have to say the hotel was excellent and very handily placed, a short walk from the Royal Mile and Princess Street, also the train station. I'd certainly use the hotel again on any visit to Edinburgh.. 18 December 2014

A very warm welcome on arrival, great staff who can't do enough for you, ending in a great nights sleep. Clean , modern rooms with everything you need including free wi-fi. Breakfast was ok, I would have prefered a proper fry up but I wouldn't normally have such a feast during the normal woirking week at home so not the end of the world! 15 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by outstanding service The late arrival of my new grandson made my initial booking impossible for me- even though it was not a flexible booking staff were so understanding and swapped my dates for me. They obviously noted the reason as they even congratulated me on my arrival! I had hoped to leave my case, as I arrived before check-in time,but as the room was ready the receptionist let me check in early. Staff could not have been more helpful or pleasant, and the stay was extremely good value for money. 12 December 2014
