Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel My husband and I spent four nights at this hotel while visiting the Florida Keys and Everglades. The bed was very comfortable and this is one of the few hotels I've been in where the room maintained the temperature it was set at all night. It was great being able to sleep through the night and not wake up at 4 in the morning to a stuffy room. The hotel staff is exceptional. Jamaica and Steven at the front desk were very helpful and always greeted us with a smile. When we were checking out a person from housekeeping found us to give us an item we had left in our room. The staff in the breakfast area always made sure that there was enough food available and nothing ever ran out. All of the staff made an effort to do more than what was expected of them. We would definitely stay here again. 03 March 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Overpriced for what it was Florida City may be the gateway to the Keys but it's in the swamps. The hotel matches its proximity to a very rural and undeveloped area but the prices match the Upper Keys. 02 March 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Get to breakfast on time Our stay here was predictable given the consistency of service and amenities across the Holiday Inn chain. There was one difference however. Many Holiday Inns extend breakfast on the weekend to 10 am. Not so here. When we arrived at 9:20am there was almost nothing available and shortly thereafter the lights were turned out and food removed. There were a number of us "left in the dark" so to speak. 25 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Front Desk and Security personnel Some of the nicest and compassionate people I have ever met in the hotel industry. My father suffered a stroke and we had to stay there while he had brain surgery and recovered. The staff and guards asked everyday how he was and did all they could to help us thru our difficult time including having breakfast out early so we could eat before we went to the hospital. Thank you for the prayers and resturaunt recomendations. 25 February 2015
