Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by positive experience Having stayed at Holiday Inn Express before ..I was not disappointed. The room was VERY clean and comfortable. Bathroom was spotless also. Quality of towels was only average. The staff were excellent....I was very impressed with service in the dining room at dinner. The staff were superb. Breakfast was only ok... would have liked croissants and the fresh fruit salad was disappointing. otherwise it was ok 22 August 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Stop over on way to Italy A good place to stop if heading further into Europe. Only 1 hour ish from Calais and easy to find. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was busy and located in a small corner which caused some queuing however breakfast was nice. We will definitely stop here again. 22 August 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect way to break the Journey Was impressed with our first visit en route to our destination (2/8) that we booked again to break our return journey to UK (12/8). Both times, staff were helpful and pleasant, and it was really nice to be recognised as return visitors when we checked in late at night. First time round, we tried the restaurant that had only been open 4 days and we really enjoyed it, even more so that the kids ate for free. Really nice staff in restaurant :). For the second visit we were too late for dinner, but the nice gentlemen at reception offered to order pizza for us - gratefully received at 11pm. Rooms were comfortable and all slept well. A few more towels, cups and tea bags in room would have been beneficial for a family of 4 - rectified immediately by staff on reception. Thanks for 2 great stop overs. will be back next year. 15 August 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good spacious rooms excellant staff the staff were fantastic and the rooms were brilliant for our family. we had a problem on the first night regarding pro cycling teams taking over the hotel but when they left on day 2 the experience was much better. 15 August 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Un desastre nada recomendable Aire acondicionado que apenas enfriaba. No tienen champú si no un bote de gel para todo. Mobiliario viejo. No había ni un armario cerrado en la habitación, sólo unas estanterías abiertas para poner la ropa (poner la ropa interior a la vista no es nada intimo). Lo peor de todo era que las camas eran incomodísimas, te hundías en ellas. Había reservado y mandado un correo para que me pusieran una cama de matrimonio y cuando llegamos nos dieron una habitación con dos camas. Eso no es romántico cuando haces una escapada con tu mujer. El desayuno no tenia buffet caliente, y encima se hace en unas mesas delante de la recepción. Creo que todo esto es motivo suficiente para estar insatisfecho. 30 July 2014
