Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Hotel, Bad Room We have stayed here many times. But I must say this stay was not good. We were in room 336, which is right above the back door of A.J. Spurs and also next to Oak Park Ave. The noise level was very high. I will return to this hotel in the future but will not accept a room in the south building. The north building is where you want to be. Also being a Priority Club member I expected a little more than a "we have your number on file" greeting. A bottle of water would have been nice. 09 February 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Dated room My first room had a non functioning heater. The second room had functioning appliances but were very dated. The hot water ran out one night and was still out in the morning. Had to take a sink bath by heating water in the coffe maker to warm it up. 03 January 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Not up to IHG standards we had two rooms for our family. Both rooms had cleanliness issues. We were not acknowledged as reward members at all. All the food at the breakfast bar on the second day was Luke warm. Very disappointed. 31 December 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Convenient location, quite close to Catalina Express Holiday Inn at Long Beach is conveniently located in the downtown area. I had to take the ferry to Catalina express and it is only 6 mins drive from Catalina Landing (parking facility). If you are on a leisure travel, Huntington state beach is only about 30 mins drive from this place. It was good to know that there is a shuttle service offered by the hotel within a 3 mile radius though I did not have an opportunity to use it. There is one downside about this location I have to complain about. Unlike other locations, the hotel charges a parking fee of $10 on the property. My stay would have been worth it if the parking was offered for free least on the premises. Also for customers who pre-pay for breakfast, can you give the breakfast coupons at the time of check-in so they don't have to ask for it 30 December 2013
