Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Always use Holiday Inn Express When traveling, we always use Holiday Inn express because we always have experienced a clean, comfortable, and friendly facility. I love the fact that the beds have both firm and soft pillows and they are labeled "Firm" or "Soft." We only stayed one night as we were limited in time, but I did not sleep well. I am a light sleeper and when in a new environment I put ear plugs in. This did not prevent me from awakening numerous times during the night because of the proximity to railroad tracks that ran trains throughout the night, whistles blowing too. We stayed at this HIE because of nearness to the Interstate so I guess it should not surprise me that there would be RR tracks in the area too. 14 December 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Courteous Staff, clean room I have stayd at this hotel three times in the last five years. The staff is always extremely courteous and attentive to detail. They certainly make you feel at home. The room is always clean and well kept. The only issue I have is that the hotel is pet friendly. I was on the second floor my last stay and at midnight I was awaken by a dog barking as its owner slammed the door to bed down for the night across the hall. Then at 3 AM I was awakened again as the owner slammed the door again taking the dog for a walk. Door slammed again after returning. And finally at 5:30 AM I was awaken again as the owner and dog left the room for good. It would make sense for the staff to put all pet owners on the same floor. I believe that if the person who had no regard for other's stay did not have a pet, I would have heard the door slam once at midnight and more than likely again if they booked out before me. 02 December 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff The only problem I had with this hotel was that one morning these two women brought a big dog into the dining area for breakfast. I try not to stay at a "doggie hotel" for this very reason. 02 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff It makes a difference when you arrive at the hotel and are greeted by lovely, smiling staff who welcomed us as if we were family! We had an easy sign in, and our points were written right on our room card! Cookies and coffee were set out in the lobby, too which was welcome after the long drive. It was a great experience in every detail. 26 November 2014
