Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by What started off OK, ended TERRIBLE! We choose this hotel based on price, parking and proximity to Downtown Chicago. We checked in the night before I was to a run a big race in downtown Chicago the next morning. I needed to be at the before 6 am the day before. I spoke with the front desk clerk the evening before regarding breakfast, and she was very nice, and allowed me to obtain some breakfast items the night before. I was also told me it wouldn't be a problem to get some of the earlier dry goods put out before the official 6 am breakfast start which we did. The day following the race, we we're able to relax a bit more, and went to breakfast around 8 am. The staff member running the breakfast area was TERRIBLE RUDE. I asked for pancake syrup as there was none on the buffet, and was treated like a common criminal (she took it from a drawer, and took quite a bit of time assembling them on the plate before she actually HANDED me one). A discarded pancake and spare plate were left by the pancake maker by another person, and while I was waiting for syrup, she verbally confronted me in a hateful tone regarding these items, blaming me. The staff member then proceeded to walk off, and out loud make mention of me and my spouse, and our "taking things" the day before to another guest or staff member (we we're not sure which) in regards to me picking up a few items to eat before the race that were already on the buffet. My spouse later went to her, and politely tried to say "Good Morning" to which she simply glared at him and walked off. As we left the breakfast area, I told her "Thank You" and was as polite as I could be despite being obvoiusly shaken by her tone and demeanor. I was rewarded with a simple grunt as she rolled her eyes and walked away. We understand people have bad days, but this staff member OBVIOUSLY had a problem, as she was friendly and cordial to other guests in the breakfast area. Our room was comfortable, but the bench in front of the closet, and the chair were stained and dirty, there was also some type of slimy substance smeared on the alarm clock and a used feminine napkin behind the bedside table (I had pulled the bedside table out to plug in my laptop). The bathrooms, and bedding we're clean and we did enjoy the pool area following the race. The front desk staff we're very helpful and kind, but we feel the lady responsible for the breakfast area should be reprimanded for her horrible attitude and treatment of customers. We're sorry to say we will never return to this location nor recommend it to anyone. We are Priority Club members, and never ONCE have we ever been treated so poorly at one of this chains locations. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Geat place but aviod pool Everything was rather good about this stay, however I would have enjoyed it so much more if I could have spent more time in the pool area. I could not enjoy or relax because the smell was so strong of chlorine. When I got into the hot tub my eyes were burning. My husband liked the breakfast and the staff was friendly. Honestly we could have stayed some where else for free, but we wanted to enjoy the hot tub for health reasons. so I was disappointed. 11 November 2014

First, I booked the room for fix price and when I checked in, the hotel charged me two different rate for the two nights I stayed. In addition, when I was asking the front desk the employees just told me "this is what we have in computer and we cannot change it" and did not offer me a bottle of water or nothing, even though I am a gold member. 10 November 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Völlig ungenügender Shuttle Service kumulierte Wartezeit auf den Shuttle Bus betrug bei meinem Aufenthalt von zwei Nächten knapp 3 Stunden. Insbesondere der Shuttle Service zum Flughafen O'Hare war völlig ungenügend. Selbst nach Kontaktaufnahme mit dem Hotel betrug die Wartezeit noch 1,5 Stunden. Arrogante Rezeptionistin die gar nicht darauf einging brachte das Fass zum überlaufen. 24 October 2014

My family and i had a park and fly package and when we got back to the hotel our minivan would not start, it was late and the lady at the front desk went above and beyound to assist us. she allowed my family indoors where she had made hot coco for every one and called us a cab that took me to the local walmart to pick up jumping cables . This lady was such a blessing the cab driver didnt even charged us and even brought us back to the property. We had orignially called a tow truck because it was so late in he night and no one seem to b available but thanks to miss q fast thinking we saved 100 bucks. and gained some much needed jumping cables for a rainy day. Thanks Miss Q for everything my family truly appreciated all u did for us.. 23 October 2014

It was a bonus, that the shuttle service was also available to the nearby Blue line of the CTA! The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was outstanding!! Everyone we encountered was pleasant and eager to help. We always use the IHG brand hotels, and this was one of our best experiences! Keep up the good work! 13 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quick trip to Chicago I spent the night here before visiting Northwestern U in the morning for a softball game. It was a great location, just off the toll highway (nice quite location). I was able to walk to a restaurant for a relaxing meal (wings, salad, and beer). The hotel was very nice and management staff was exceptional. I had the pleasure to talk to Edgar (the manager), and with him in charge good things will continue. I will visit this location again on my next trip to this area of Chicago. 08 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location for our meeting Hotel was close to my meeting location; great breakfast, free paper and had access to a computer and internet in their business centre. Staff was attentive whenever I had any questions. Only issue that I encountered was with the shuttle service, waited over 2 hours. Finally someone other from their front office stepped up and drove the shuttle to pick us up. She was very gracious and courteous considering we were ready to mutiny. 06 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice experience Great stay - no significant problems only issues were we like a rock hard mattress - a little bit soft and when checking in we were told breakfast served till 10 am on Sunday and at 9:30 staff began shutting down saying it ended at 9:30 - we were done but I felt bad for the guests who came at 9:30 assuming it was open till 10. 02 October 2014
