Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Enjoyable stay Welcoming, friendly atmosphere evident from our first encounter with hotel staff.Always had time to answer any queries and did not make you feel a nuisance. Room was clean, comfortable and warm. Hot breakfast was tasty. On the whole a completely relaxing stay. Even the cleaning ladies were friendly, pleasant ,and always willing to help. 25 February 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by First Stay This was the first time i had stayed here and i pretty much got what i expected from the brand. would still like the option of rooms with baths instead of just a shower, a better range of toiletries and improved wifi. The breakfast was poor - bacon dripping in grease and unpalatable. Otherwise a find stay. 23 February 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Quiet room We had a first-floor room facing the car park. There was no noise at all. The breakfast area was busy when we went down to breakfast and we had to clear a table in order to have breakfast. The breakfast choice was good. 23 February 2015

Responce time when we accidently pulled emergency cord was 30 seconds, Must have a very good health and safety program in place. Would stay here again and will tell friends about it. 21 February 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Shocking Serivce, Freezing Room ! On arrival we were met by a surly receptionist who allocated our room without a welcome or explaining where the bar / breakfast were. On entering our room it was a twin room and we had expected a double. It was also freezing. On returning to the front desk we were told without an apology that we had booked a "standard" room which could be a twin. I had to ask whether any double rooms were available but without checking the receptionist told us they were all booked ? The explanation for temperature being sub zero was because the electric is controlled by the key card so the heating is off when the room is unoccupied - again this was explained without an apology. This is a serious design fault of the room and also seriously poor example of customer service. Will not stay here or any other Holiday Inn Express during cold months. So disappointed. 18 February 2015
