very poor,too much noise,poor location,no restuarants near by,,,way to much money for this hotel,a lot better value out there other then the cost of this one.the noise level for sleeping was ridicluous,location is very poor

Nice hotel. Had issue with A/C not cooling room. Front desk told me at check out there is a trick to the system.

Our bathtub had a big clump of hair in it. The bedding had a stain on it that looked like blood.
Also the air conditioner was not working we could not get it to cool down and it very loud.
The view out of our window was a wall.
When we told the staff our concerns all they could say was, "sorry".
Will never stay here again, at least they could of addressed our concerns and corrected them.

Stayed two different times within a couple weeks and was extremely comfortable there and the service was exemplary.
I just secured a new job in KC, moving from STL, so this location was my short term home away from home until I found a more permanent spot. I made my initial reservation through the 800 IHG #, but at my arrival, the person at the desk was able to put me in a King Room on the first floor at a lower rate. I had trouble with my AC staying on so I called the desk. Within minutes, she came to the room, reset the switch and it worked. An hour later, she called to make sure it was working correctly... I was impressed by the follow-up. Breakfast was tasty, loved the "baby" cheese omelets! Every time I went by the front desk, the staff was friendly and genuine. Several days after checking out, I looked at the bill from the three days and noticed the rates were higher for the 2nd and 3rd nights compared to the 1st night. I guess when I made the reservation, I understood the rate quoted for night one would be the same for all three nights, but apparently, it goes up and down based on day of week and/or demand. I called the hotel directly and was able to speak to manager who explained why charges went up, and, agreed to reduce my charges to be equal to night 1 for that stay without me even asking. I really appreciated the flexibility. I came back the following week and found the same service and friendly staff, again very accommodating. Again, I made the reservation through 800 IHG, and only a room with 2 Queen Beds was available. When I arrived, staff was able to put me back in the same room as the previous week which was super! I have since found an apartment, so I may not be staying there again, but I would definitely recommend that location to anyone.
I give this location an "11" on a scale of 10..

If you want a good quality hotel, close to the KC Sports Complex for Royals/Chiefs games, this is the place.
The rates are lower than avg. and the rooms are great. It is a failry new hotel and everything is like new.

They treat you like family (I happen to like mine) and solved some non-hotel related problems for me which saved my bacon for a business meeting I had the next morning. Above and beyond the call.
