I had made our reservations on the 3rd of January and called three days before we actually left to be sure everything was squared away. When we arrived on the 31st of January we were told at the check in desk that they couldn't give us what we had asked for because people that had checked in to the hotel before we had arrived had taken those rooms. We had to brow beat the receptionist into making things right. Also at check in I asked specifically if it was safe to park at the far end of the hotel and was told absolutely nothing to worry about. Well the next morning when I went out to walk our little dog I checked the car and everything looked great so we went back into the hotel. One hour later our car window was smashed out in broad daylight and our luggage, golf clubs and several other items were stolen - in broad day light mind you! What a nightmare!! We found out after the fact that this was not an uncommon experience. What us so upsetting is that we had specifically asked at check in if it would be safe to park where we did and were assured that it was. i can't begin to tell you how unnerving this whole experience was but I can tell you we will never stay there again and will think twice about the other hotels in this chain.
