Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We will be back !cannt get enough - good Hotel My 2 nd visit /stay being a RnB Soul fan from a golden era of Motown , Stax,Philadelphia at the adjacent King Power Stadium that hold regular soul music venues - everything went smoothly and with great style in keeping with RnB soul . Will be there again at Holiday Inn Express -Well Done ! 22 January 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Noisy room, No access on matchday!!! Arrived in Leicester at 4.30pm but the streets around hotel were sealed off due to a football match at the stadium on that day, so we had to sit in our car, less than 1/2 mile from the hotel an wait for 2 hrs until the road block was lifted!! It would be courteous if guests could be informed of any match day restrictions before they book. As a middle aged man (50) and his wife I was then surprised to be asked to pay a £50 deposit for any damage that may be caused to our room during our stay?? Not good PR for your guests I'm afraid. The room was warm and very clean but the double glazing was very poor and we were subjected to traffic noise all night even though we were on the 3rd floor. 22 January 2015

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Lack of staff Enjoyed our stay, would use the hotel again. The main down side was the lack of staff in reception when booking in. There was only one member of staff. It was early afternoon and Leicester City FC were playing, so as expected it was busy with some football supporters staying at the hotel. People were waiting to be served at the bar and others, like ourselves, were waiting to book into the hotel. I felt sorry for the one member of staff who was doing her very best trying to please the customers. 18 January 2015
