Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff I booked this hotel with a meeting room for a three day course. I found it very good value for money. Only downside was the hotel is not really geared up for providing a range of catering for a three day event but it was adequate. Also the meeting room has no natural day light, but the room was large and AV equipment very good. The staff at the hotel were very good. They were very helpful and always seem to have a smile on their faces. The decor of the hotel was great. Using the original dockland brickwork works really well and the rooms were very spacious and conformable. I would certainly stay here again. 27 October 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Helpful staff and a generally comfortable stay The hotel is situated in an interesting and historic area of Liverpool, but may not be as near to the City centre amenities for those who are not so keen on walking. The entrance is not well signed and not easy to spot being off a courtyard. There are several museums/galleries in the immediate area. It can be cold in this area as the hotel is situated on the Mersey front, but the hotel is adequately heated. Soundproofing in the hotel between floors is not good, so expect to hear movement in the room above. Investment in ear plugs would be advisable. Room prices vary a great deal from one night to another, might be worth phoning to see if you can get a better deal, particularly if you are travelling alone. 16 October 2014

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by always a nice stay we stayed for our anniversary and my birthday . we mentioned this to staff . did not expect anything and we didnt get any special treatment but hey hum. Room was nice and views stunning. Bed was comfortable. Bathroom was ok but back of door a little worn as was floor . Only toiletries were the soaps on the wall . Complimentary tea and coffee with kettle available. Breakfast was ok but nothing to write home about to be honest and it wasnt very warm . The staff were nice and check in and check out was fast and efficient . We got a discount voucher for car park which is an added bonus. I will stay here again as I love this hotel BUT prefer a dock view as its not so noisy . 14 October 2014
