Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Friendliest staff in London
Staff make this hotel very pleasant. Hotel always clean, easy to get into London and far better value than hotels in the city. One bus from outside the hotel to Oxford Street - takes about 45 minutes.
Niggles would be that you are given 6 drinks (2 coffee, 2 decaf coffee and 2 tea bags) and 2 UHT milk pots. Yes you can ask for more, but trailing up and down stairs is not my idea of fun. This is penny pinching in the wrong area.
The other niggles are that for the past year, BBC 2 does not work on any TV. There are pictures, but the sound distorts too badly to hear.
Finally, the management of the hotel choose to allow non-residents to park their expensive cars in the hotel car park - which they do and often take up two spaces to avoid damage to their cars. This would be ok if the car park were big enough, but if you arrive after 7pm expect to have to park your car on the busy road outside the hotel, where you have to move it before 8am the next day, hopefully undamaged

This hotel is an ideal base for north London. Its close proximity to Hampstead Heath was just right for our needs. Plus there's plenty of off-street parking! This was our third visit and is our first choice every time.

My first stay at a Holiday Inn Express and really it does what it says on the tin. Our trip was to visit a sick relative so relaxing and enjoying ourselves wasn't an option. Hotel clean and easy to find so would stay again. Your lady who does the breakfasts is excellent.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by dst6817 Good basic hotel
For those not needing a central London location this hotel can offer good value for money. The rooms are basic, but adequate. They lack cupboard, although there is a small hanging/storage space. They also lack a room safe, which I think is a shame as this can be added easily.
The breakfast offers a regular and Kosher option. The Kosher selection is good, but rationed by the staff. This is a shame as it leaves the guest feeling that they must beg and justify every item that they eat.

we had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff were welcoming and service was good. Breakfast suited us very well. The only down side was that the mattress wasn't the most comfortable but ok for 1 night.

We found the service provided by the staff to be extremely helpful.
In particular the lady on the front desk was very attentive and went out of her way to be helpful.
