I had a family room for me and 2 teenagers, to see Lee Evans at the O2. The hotel was a bit of a walk for me, but I'm unfit - and about 20 mins away. The actual hotel is excellent, just as it says 'Simple, Smart, Spot On".
The rooms were very bright, with good TV, tea and coffee, comfy beds and immaculate linen. It was slightly noisy but I live in rural Wiltshire and used to no noise, but this isn't the hotel's fault - the noise from outside came in, only with the window open.
The breakfast was lush - the scrambled eggs were particularly, perfectly flavoured with salt & pepper, thanks to the lady chef, apparently. All in all, we loved our stay and I didn't want to leave.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by daz2012 GREAT STAY, BUT ROOMS NEED A REFURB
Friendly service from staff. Room comfortable. Carpet needed sweeping. Stains and marks on the walls, indication a refurb is needed. We have been staying here repeadly over the past 5 years for many shows at the O2. Always had a comfortable stay, and any issues are always quickly resolved.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kwerky Great Location for the O2 Arena
I stayed in the Holiday Inn Express for 1 night after seeing a show at O2 Arena. The reception staff were incredibly friendly and check in was quick and efficient.
The bedroom was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I had a great nights' sleep!
The cooked breakfast was nice in the morning and again; the staff were efficient and friendly.
I would recommend this hotel - especially if you are seeing a show/concert at the O2. It's literally a 15 minute walk to the Arena.

We used to hotel as a base while when we saw a concert at the O2. Hotel was clean and staff helpful but the beds were extremely hard which spoiled our stay

We were not sure about our choice at first because of the high cost of car parking and a rather snooty check in staff member who was surprised and double checked that same sex people had booked a double bed!
We didn't like only having one key card as it worked the lights and electrics so if one of us wanted to pop out the other had no choice but to go too! The bed was way too hard for us and the pillow selection all seemed rather high and hard but we ended up really liking the hotel and staff especially one young woman when we checked out who went out of her way to be kind.
It's not the easiest hotel to check out of as we had to go from breakfast (on the 1st floor) to our room for our cases (up to the3rd floor) and back to the 1st floor (where reception is) to check out!! All the time the lifts were in much demand because everyone else was doing the same thing. We waited ages for lifts because of mobility problems

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by LJP79 Nice Hotel - Beware of distance from 02!
I was led to believe when booking that the hotel was right by the 02 Arena, but upon arrival i got lost twice and had to phone the hotel reception for directions, as there aren't any visible directing you upon arrival at North Greenwich tube station.
The hotel is 20 minutes walk at least from the station.
Breakfast items were well-stocked and fresh but no skimmed milk available (I was advised there would be on booking). Also no fresh fruit segments, only tinned pineapple and bananas/apples.
Hotel is good overall but just needs to attend to a few matters such as directions to the hotel for anyone not driving and also to ensure that all basic breakfast items are available at all times.
