Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by HappyFamily124 Quiet Room & Fantastic Breakfast Service
We stayed for three nights at this hotel for our sight seeing trip to London (two adults & two children 8 & 12). We were given a lovely room on the second floor which was quiet (amazing in London!) The hotel was convenient for both Ravenscourt & Hammersmith tube stops-only 5 or so minute walk. It was brilliant that these were on the District Line as we went to Kew Gardens, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum , London Eye & the Tower of London. Hammersmith itself had plenty of eating places & shops.
As for our breakfast - we were glad that this was included in our stay as we thoroughly enjoyed the help yourself food. The staff helping out there were ever so nice & friendly particularly Rojan & a young man whose name I didn't get. They both helped make our stay wonderful.
The only drawback was that the kids had to share a double bed but we knew that before we came (don't think the kids did though!!) I would definitely recommend this hotel to friends for location & next time we visit London, we probably stay here again.

Stayed for one night with my 2 children on 20/10/2013. Staff were so helpful and welcoming, they were faultless and even helped me save money on parking.
Room was very clean and comfortable with all we needed for our overnight stay.
Breakfast was good with plenty of choice.
Very conveniently located for hammersmith underground station and lots of shops and places to eat nearby.
Would definitely stay again.

Thank you Holiday Inn Hammersmith for the perfect stay. We came up to see Paul Weller at The Apollo and found the hotel perfectly situated. Parking is secure and well priced which gives peace of mind. Greeting at reception was first rate; polite and efficient. Room was beautifully clean and very comfortable. Choice of pillows was really welcome. Lovely temperature in the room with options for warmer or colder to suit your preference. Very quiet during the night despite the central location.
Breakfast was excellent. Great choice of hot and cold food with staff maintaining cleanliness in a busy breakfast room.
Considerate staff on departure, ensuring that all was well. Look forward to staying with you again.

I have been to this hotel a few times over the years and it is always a pleasure to stay. The service is the best. The rooms are comfortable. It is good that wi fi is now available. Parking has always been good. Its proximity to the Thames and the underground are great, and the shopping in Kings street is good.

I never expect much when going to a hotel in London, but I have to say this place was much better than others costing 30 pounds more a night. That said, I gave a slightly lower rating for Value because London hotels in general are overpriced relative to other large cities in Europe, and this one is no exception. Room was clean, functional, and had everything I needed. I appreciated the free wifi. I don't usually sleep very well in hotels but I had a good night here. The front desk staff were very responsive to my questions and stayed calm when I was panicking about getting to Heathrow. If I am in the area I will definitely stay here again.

From the beginning to the end all the staff were friendly and hospitable. The state of the room was always clean, inside the hotel was comfortable. Either visit London again or visit another country, even if you always want to use Holiday inn express.

I stayed here for one night as i was in London for the recent NFL game. I had travelled from Ibiza earlier that day and was quite tired. The staff were very friendly. Got to the room no problem and found that there was a choice of bed. A soft mattress or hard mattress. It was refreshing to see such a choice and a good nap was had. After it was only a 5 minute walk to the tube station where we then went to our game. Coming back we were tired and wanting to sleep. It's location was perfect and in no time we were back in our hotel. As soon as our heads hit the pillows we were out like a light. Not a bit of noise all night. In the morning the warm shower helped to wake us up and when checking out there was no problem with us leaving our bags. All in all it was a perfect stay during a great weekend.

Nice clean Holiday Inn Express within 5 minutes of Hammersmith tube station.
You will always pay a premium to say in London, however this hotel was reasonably priced for the location.
I found all the staff pleasant and efficient, and I would recommend this hotel.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by JulyB perfect hotel for your London trip!
My grandma (69) and me (21) visited London for the first time and we booked this hotel out of several choices as we found this hotel sounded really nice.
Hammersmith isnt' located very central, but therefore you don't have a lot of city traffic. The hotel is a 10-minute-walk to the next tube station which has very good connections to London city via 4 tube lines. It only takes about 20 minutes to reach London city.
The hotel is located in a one-way road (King's Street) with a lot of shops and a shopping mall. You also have a lot of opportunities to go out for dinner or to a pub.
The receptionists are very friendly and you get free WIFI.
Our room was on the 4th level. We had booked a double room with two single beds in which we slept really comfortably. The small en-suite bathroom with toilet, wash basin and shower was absolutely perfect!
The underground lines that are located a few meters behind the hotel do NOT interrupt your sleep at all and the tube even stops running at about 12.30 in the night!
The very substantial breakfast buffet is the perfect start for a day in the city! You can get everything from the typical English breakfast to rolls/toasts with jam and a varity of different cereal types.
We were so happy with this hotel and absolutely recommend it!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Salamander07 Great choice for a London visit
This hotel is a great choice if you are driving or on the train- only 10 mins from the tube and about the same from the M4 link roads. An added bonus is that there's a carpark at a very reasonable cost. The rooms are comfy and well presented and the breakfast has plenty of choice. Will definitely be returning soon as it only takes about 10 mins on the tube into Central London and the Hammersmith Apollo is only 5 mins away. Great hotel, great staff, great value!

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by whyisthiswrong not the best holiday inn, beds too small
the room was booked for 3 adults and 1 child, the sofa bed for 1 adult and 1 child was ridiculously sized, with a large metal frame around a very thin mattress. We ended up with one sleeping on the floor on cushions.

This hotel is about 10 mins walk from Hammersmith Station, not too bad once you've worked out which is King Street! Welcome at Reception was very good and they recommended a room to the side of the hotel which was relatively quiet.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by happy2wanderers London experience
We did enjoy our stay. Had a room on the front corner. Corner units have two sets of large windows that are great for a view, but they need to have a better grade of windows in them. Every noise outside sounded as if your windows were open!! Also, inadequate towel bars in the washroom so if two people shower on a given day there was no place to dry both towels. Defeats their purpose of trying to cut back on excessive laundry!!

We stayed at Holiday Inn Express Hammersmith for two nights and found it extremely good value for a London hotel. The hotel and rooms are spotless and the complimentary breakfast provides a good variety. The hotel staff were excellent; welcoming, pleasant, attentive, went out of their way to answer any query and helped make our short stay very enjoyable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

My friend and I stayed here for two nights for a couple of social days in London. Neither of us had stayed here before but we both thoroughly enjoyed our experience and are already planning another couple of nights soon.
The hotel was convenient for us as it was a short walk from Hammersmith bus station and therefore is a great location for the tube to get into Central London.
Upon arrival we found the staff to be friendly and helpful with our check-in and keeping our luggage secure until our room was ready (we arrived before the check-in time). This helpfulness and courtesy continued throughout our stay with staff making the effort to greet whenever we left/returned to the hotel - we certainly did not feel like just a guest number staying. They were also kind enough to give advice if we required it and printed a couple of vouchers from our internet use so we could get more out of our London experience.
Both the exterior and interior of the hotel - including our room - was welcoming, clean and comfortable.
We would happily recommend this hotel to anyone based on our experience and will definitely return here next time.

room, shower and toilet are not luxury, but properly functioned. The receptionist should ask currency which a customrt want to pay. I was not asked, then charged in home currency. It costs me lot more that in local currency. It should not be automatic.

Smart and casual hotel well positioned within few minute walk from Hammersmith tube and bus station make it a good choice from a London break. Staff is friendly, rooms are not so small being in London with a big bathroom (being in London). Overall very clean. Breakfast included, enough to start with energy a new day in this amazing city. There’s no restaurant inside but the pub just next door has a good choice of food with an unbeatable value for money and, that’s important, welcomes families with children. I warmly recommend this hotel and will consider again for the next stay.

We enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Express Hammersmith. The staff was friendly and helpful, room was immaculate, breakfast varied, well-prepared, plentiful, with excellent staff.
Our room faced the front, where there is a pub just down the street, and the front was a bit noisy (laughter, conversation) from about 11 - 11:30 PM; then it quieted down again. Earplugs took care of it with no problem at all. We like to sleep with the window open...the sound may not be an issue at all if you sleep with the window closed.
We highly recommend and will definately return.

Great courtesy and effectiveness of the staff at the lobby. I would suggest to improve the variety of breakfast choices . Our room space for three guests has been just acceptable. Close to Hammersmith Underground Station (8 minutes on foot). I would anyway recommend this hotel to my friends.
