Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by London Weekend This is a great hotel, normal Holiday Inn standard, beautiful looking building on Belgrave Road, five minutes walk from Pimlico Tube Station which is a lovely area with some good pubs and restaurants. In the opposite direction Victoria station is a ten minute walk and Buckingham Palace another five minutes from there. Staff were excellent, we checked in about 11.30pm Friday evening and where met by a very cheery receptionist. The breakfast dinning room was struggling a bit both Saturday and Sunday, short of bread rolls ( we never saw one) running out of cutlery but nothing that upset us or spoilt the weekend. 24 September 2014

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Internet not working with iPad/Samsung phone / old building The free internet only worked on the laptop. Ipad and Samsung phone could not connect to the Hotspot - according to staff a known problem that they were unable to fix. The rooms are dated but clean. Typical sliding windows that don't keep any noise out. Price is good for London but not the value for money is not good - go to one of the other more modern Holiday Inns instead 22 September 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Small room, warm evening, stifling with no aircon I stay at hotels in London quite often but my normal choices were all booked, so I thought that I would try this one. Not a good experience. Although conveniently situated near Pimlico underground station there was no-one in Reception when I arrived, and no way of summoning anyone. I was reduced to calling the Reception phone from my mobile to get someone there to check-in. The room I was given was small and stiflingly hot with no air-conditioning. An uncomfortable night followed as the only way to cool the room was to open the window and endure the traffic noise. It is expensive to stay here for the standard of accommodation offered. I normally stay in Kensington in a much better hotel for a lower rate. I would only stay here again if there was no other option. 22 September 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel, convenient location The hotel was clean and tidy, the room was very nice with all expected amenities. I did have to mention to the reception staff that there was a very strong smell of cigarette smoke at the end of the first floor corridor where my room was (123) which they said they would investigate. Also, when checking in, we found that they had three rooms booked for us instead of two. On checking my credit card statement at home, I found that I had indeed been charged for two rooms at the time of the original booking, and then charged for a further room. However, the charge for the additional unrequired room was refunded immediately so I was very pleased with that service! 17 September 2014
