Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Good hotel base for exploring London
The hotel's location is not too far from the Vauxhall underground, maybe 15 minutes and it was a pleasant day to walk when we stayed so no issues here. The hotel staff who checked us in was kind as we were at the end of our tether trying to find the hotel, though it wasn't the hotel's fault. The bedroom was clean and adequate for our overnight stay. If I'm nitpicking I'd say that the wall between the bathroom and the bedroom was on the thin side but well insulated from external noise. Breakfast was average, the usual English breakfast, was cooked well, clean breakfast area. For the rate, it was very good and would return if I need to be in the area.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Mat268 Excellent stay but need to be a good walker
Excellent stay. The hotel is very well maintained and so clean! Guest room was excellent in design and ease of use.
Staff at front desk not very sure about how to get around the area and their information was wrong! Never mind we found our way. Bus information given was not clear at all.
Be aware that it is a good 20 minute WALK to the London Eye area BUT a very simple walk past the Vauxhall tube station then keep right (you can then see the London Eye) and a lovely walk along the waters edge.
It cost 10 Pounds in a taxi back from the London Eye to the hotel which was OK.
It costs 20 Pounds for a taxi from Victoria Station to the hotel.
Well recommend this hotel and definetly stay here again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Skehacrine Great hotel, good value for the area
This area is currently under going massive changes with new buildings popping up like mushrooms. The hotel is away from the re-development work which is mostly near to the Thames.
You can hop on a bus to Clapham Junction or in to the heart of the city from just outside or a few minutes walk there is a whole host of transport options at Vauxhall Station (Victoria Line
