Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Great stay in London (family, 2+1)
A bit far from city centre but perfectly served by Northern Line, connected to Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross, Bank, Camden Town... all the places you want to visit in a three days trip around London.
Close to a big commercial area, parks, pubs and restaurants, the hotel is comfortable and quiet. The staff is kind, rooms are clean and the breakfast service - not guaranteed in many hotels in London - is quite good, though not so various.
I definitely reccomend this hotel.

Comfortable bed, clean room, exactly as I'd hope for at such a price.
Unfortunately though the shower is not spacious (no big problem in itself), and the (rather large) soap dispenser is located in such a way that you can't move freely within the shower cubicle without hitting your arm. There is ample space in the cubicle for it to be located elsewhere without it being such a problem.
Breakfast was OK, but didn't even provide a basic muesli in the cereal selection, only sugar-added options unfortunately.
For me, the combination of the two above drawbacks will likely see me seek an alternative local option next time, unless I can secure a good option via my IHG rewards.

A very pleasant one night stay with a very good buffet breakfast. I liked the location and it had good public transport links, so I could leave the car at the hotel.
My only whinge is the cost of parking the car which I feel is too steep. I will definitely use this hotel again..

Parking an Issue here - limited, once gone you are in a not very salubrious area of London trying to park

this hotel provided everything we needed for a one night stay at short notice, convenient location for St.Georges hospital and an early start.

I chose this hotel because it is just across the road from the tube station which means you can be in the city within 20 minutes of leaving the hotel. That's about the only thing I actively enjoyed about this place.
The first annoyance was the ridiculous columns taking up much of the corridors, obviously drainage pipes or something from higher floors, but necessitated manoeuvring luggage around them in a kind of clumsy slalom.
I dropped my bags off and then went down to the bar for something to eat but I am fast learning that eating at HIEs is a real no-no. The bar was deserted of staff or guests and the menu offered a tiny range of curries or panninis which, if the receptionist pops one in the microwave for you, will cost a ridiculous amount of money. Nobody came to take my order anyway so I just went to the chippy!
The room itself was pretty typical of a HIE but the bed was seriously old and had that tell tale dip in the centre that just says "you're not sleeping well tonight". Similarly the pillows were wafer thin and, on calling reception for some newer pillows, received two even thinner ones and a lecture from the receptionist about how she preferred them that way.
The bathroom was not particularly clean - soap scum build up on the shower and hair in the drain.
Pretty disappointing to be honest

The Shower was narrow yet fitted to the wall was a dispenser which protruded such that the occupier, i.e. myself, frequently caught my arm on its corners - painful.
Even though the room, on 1st floor, was not adjacent to the road it still was quite noisy - bearing in mind all windows and curtains were closed. Ask for a room facing the park at the rear of this hotel if you require more peace as the road is a busy one.
The bar Menu consisted of 2 choices for Mains: Vegetarian or Chicken Korma. \however there is a Pub next door which serves a variety of foods regularly changes and a variety of drink options. plus other venues in the area.
On the PLUS side the hotel is across the road from Colliers Wood tube station, ideal for getting into central London
