Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Nice room and great staff Needed to stay near St. Vincent's for surgery. Very happy with hotel room, spacious and clean. Free breakfast and parking were appreciated. Free shuttle to LA Live was a great bonus! Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Aida at the front desk. Would definitely stay here again. 26 February 2015

No one can enter in your hotel floor unless they are a paid customer on your floor , it was alarming at first but nice. So, I did feel very safe. 16 February 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by NO HOT WATER I stayed on business with a group of co workers. Had to be at an 8am meeting after my first night stay, woke up to NO hot water, was not going to have time to call to see if it could be fixed, so I proceeded to do the best I could with the sink! (which was cold water as well) When I got downstairs I politely mentioned to the front desk guy about the no hot water. I was nice, because I realize that it would not have been his fault as it was beyond his control. BUT, he barely made eye contact with me, and continued carrying a conversation with another employee, and simply said "oh well fixed now." No apology, no sincerity at all. And to top it off when I then met with co workers in the breakfast area, all were saying they had no hot water. and a couple mentioned being treated the same as I had been when they called downstairs about the issue. Yes, the water was fixed when we returned in the evening, but I have noticed thru other reviews this has been an issue with the hotel before. I, as well as my co workers use holiday inns on our travels and are use to better service than this. I can get over the hot water going out, but the lack of urgency and lack of sincerity when reporting our issue to the staff is unacceptable. And to top it off, I am seeing this is a NON QUALIFYING STAY for points....why would this stay not be a points qualifying stay? 08 February 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Loved the room ! GREAT STAFF, they go above and beyond. Rooms are the standard clean and crisp Holiday Inn Express. It is in a multi-cultural neighborhood, but if you have to stay downtown, this is a fantastic option. The location is perfect, nearby to downtown and reasonably priced. 05 February 2015
