Very clean, new hotel. Very well located in a nice and open part of Managua. Within two minutes from the best shopping center in town with restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. Good place to sleep with very basic hotel amenities, but priced as a full service and amenities hotel.

I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express for 8 nights on purely a personal vacation. I picked this hotel as being an American hotel I knew that the staff would speak English and I only have a slight knowledge of Spanish.
I knew that I could not rent a car as from experience with Latin American countries I know that street signs are typically non-existent, so getting around is a night-mare. This is the last country in Central America that I have not visited, so this fulfills one of my bucket lists. The hotel and grounds very nice and the staff was friendly and could speak English and were very helpful in providing information on how to use and catch buses in Managua. Using their information, I was able to take busses to downtown Managua, and also the cities of Granada, Leon, Masaya and Nagarote.
