My room was a little small but otherwise great, with a very comfortable bed, full function TV, mini-bar, and a wonderful bathroom, all spotlessly clean. The hotel service was fine - in truth, I barely used it. Breakfast was good, but very centered on Anglo-American choices. I would've liked some Asian variants. I also booked early, and as a result received a good discount by booking direct. I did not really like the area the hotel was in - at night, it was quite loud and a little unruly. There was nothing unsafe about the area, but it had a little too much 'spring break' atmosphere, with a lot of cars, traffic and general loud congestion at night. 16 January 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best thing is the staff! Stayed in late December (from Christmas to New Years) and found the hotel to be truly outstanding in terms of staff hospitality and helpfulness. As the employees live in the building, it seems they care every guest experience is positive...and it is. Congrats! For the future, I would love to see bar soap instead of liquid in the bathrooms and for the temp controls to be more straightforward. I also think the restaurant menu has just a minimal attempt at 'local' flavor, although the food---and especially the breakfasts---are good. The neighborhood can be quite noisy on the weekends, but the thick window glass helps. 02 January 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Real nice hotel I was surprised that hotel has a safe parking lot with security at no charge. I was impressed about that. The room was real nice and comfort. I noticed that they don't have a small face towel in the bathroom so I called by pulling the rope from the ceiling in my room and I requested for it so they bought it at no problem. The breakfast was real good and nice. The people who work there and they were so friendly and nice. I enjoyed staying there. 30 November 2013

Everything was clean and organised and staff were very helpful. It is a pleasure to recommend this hotel. For a Holiday Inn Express this ranks as one of the best in the group. 21 November 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good nice hotel I stay in this hotel for 2 nigh every things was nice staring from the Cleanliness and facilities , the only thing disappoint me is i did not found toothbrush in bathroom ans when i call reception they inform me that we will send it with pleasure but unfortunately no one bring i think because its week end and the hotel was almost full . also regarding the wireless internet its better to provide hotel guests free access i know there is free internet through cable but it will be better if they can provide the wireless access too . overall the hotel is excellent and thank you for ll staff specially for Mrs. Eds for quick check-in . i will visit again for sure 04 November 2013

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by good but breakfast to be imporved It’s worth to stay in this hotel even though the room sizes are small comparing to other IHG hotel standard. Important issue is the breakfast variety and quality to be improved. Its fine for the guests who stays one or two nights but for those who stays more than 2 night may fed-up with same variety of items. Staffs are friendly and polite. Need to give much more importance to IHG members as they are the genuine customers who give more business to IHG. 22 October 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean room For the price we paid, this was an okay stay. The front desk leaves a lot to be desired. We were allocated and given a room key only to find that housekeeping were in there carrying out their daily clean as it was allocated to somebody else. Thank goodness we didn't arrive in the middle of the night when they might have been fast asleep in bed. A member of staff we met in the lift sorted the problem for us. Breakfast was okay with quite a good selection but no pork products. The breakfast room was really noisy with several children running around and what sounded as though they were shouting on the top of their voices. I do not blame the hotel for this but parents that don't care. Members of staff were continually taking the children back to their parents , not that it done any good as a few minutes later they were running around again. Our room was very clean. The bed was not as comfortable as other IHG hotels we've stayed in but they did change my pillows immediately when I asked. Would I stay again? Not too sure at the moment. 09 October 2013

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Clean, modern hotel but breakfast needs to be improved I enjoyed my stay at Holiday Inn Express. However, two matters should be improved. These are: 1) A significant improvement is needed in the quality and variety of breakfast offered. In addition, the temperature of "hot" food was unsatisfactory. 2) Free wifi should be available in guest rooms. This is a norm nowadays in most hotels. Apart from these two matters, Holiday Inn Express offers good value in a clean and modern environment. I will stay at this hotel again. 02 October 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Typical Holiday Inn Lovely stay compared favourably to other more expensive hotels in Bahrain, which can be very hit and miss. Clean, comfortable, modern, still smells new. Good central location, small taxi ride to most areas. Satisfactory complimentary breakfast, although should offer pork products for its non-muslim guests to really be up there with the bigger hotels. Only niggle was paid almost double the advertised price as a 'standard' room is apparently 2 single beds. As we wanted a double and didn't read the small print #who does?#, we had to pay an extra 15 quid for a double bed, plus service charge, plus taxes!! Not such good value after all. 01 October 2013
