Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great for the Arena Booked this hotel due to the location near the arena and had a great stay, the hotel is new so we no doubt seen it at its best. Rooms are clean and comfortable. My only negative comments are that the breakfasts are poor, I know they are free but I would prefer to pay a few quid and get some decent food. Also, we found the hotel a little difficult to find, if the directions on the web site had stated it was "just behind the Crown Plaza" it would have made it alot easier. July 29, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Weekend Break This was a second visit to this particular hotel. It is in a good location particularly for Victoria Station, Arndale Centre, The Arena and Printworks Complex. Staff were welcoming, efficient and friendly. Room was on a high floor with good views over the city as well as being very quiet. It was well presented being clean and tidy in all areas. Good selection of hot and cold options for breakfast. July 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very nice hotel - I'll give the poor points first:- 1) My partner and her daughter got paint on their clothing in the dining room due to the very poor 'Wet Paint' signs that were 'On View' in the dining room at breakfast time. Whoever had the bright idea to paint the furniture at a time when people would be using the areas needs to have a re-think. Resulting in new clothing being ruined due to paint stains. 2). The sofa bed in the room was very, very uncomfortable leading to a poor nights sleep. Needs addressing, However the rest of the stay was excellent. In particular the attendant Duane on the main desk was a great help and kept us informed of what was happening with our room, gave complimentary drinks tokens for our delay and was great service personified. Top marks. Great location, clean rooms, lovely bathroom and shower. I'll stay here again (minus the paint in the dining room), when I next visit the Northern Quarter in Manchester. July 23, 2015
