Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and excellent last minute deal Quiet location and very convenient to travel routes. Rear rooms overlook a lake. Lovely staff. Lots of parking. Decent sized TV. Breakfast with hot items included in the price. Super thick towels. Room had an electric radiator and an electric fan on the desk. No air-con. Window opened no problem. Hotel restaurant has an adequate menu but the area is stark and is an extended part of the reception area so did not appeal. The adjacent inn serves a variety of good value meals. June 15, 2016

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Allocated Rooms As a Spire Elite member I would have expected to been given a double bed, even if that did mean someone being moved who is not a member of the rewards programme, I feel that staff do not read members profiles to see their requirements, Therefore I had a very un comfortable nights sleep topped with the noise of bottles being dumped on a regular basis in the bin, and general staff having loud conversations outside the room window. Finally on checking out I would expect to be dealt with straight away, not wait till the staff finish their conversation, when you see guests standing at the reception desk it is not because we have nothing better to do than wait for you, it means we would like to check out and get on with our day.
