Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Great welcome, superb sevice and top location
I needed to stay close to Oxford Road railway station in Manchester and this is the most convenient, has great facilities and service.
The welcome is professional and genuine at reception and the team can't do enough to help you.
The rooms are very well equipped and the bar is a nice touch for a quiet drink in the evening - away from the noise and crowds found in most pub - with a reasonable selection of drinks.
I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Teddie53 Central location, very good service
Clean comfortable and staff very helpful. Excellent location and not much traffic noise despite central location. Breakfast options basic, I did not enjoy cooked items, but I may just have been unlucky. I would however use this hotel again.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Eribul Nearly there!
Arrived at hotel to find 5 members of staff behind the reception desk with only one person in front of me booking in, however I still had to wait 15 minutes to book in. The booking was then found to be incorrect, I had amended it online the day before arriving but this had not gone through onto the system they were looking at even though I had email confirmation of the changes.
I was asked as a member to spin the wheel of fortune and won a 1000 points which would be added to my account, you can guess the rest.
Hotel lovely and clean, a good location and price just spoilt by indifferent staff and systems.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by FingersFinnucane 2 nights at Oxford Road
I experienced two very pleasant nights in Manchester. Hotel was very close to my desired destinations, being the MMU area, so it is ideally located. Breakfast was a great way to start the day - good quality and variety of fare. The staff were most helpful in every regard. However, I found the room was not warm enough at night but that was rectified when I was given a second duvet. Also, I may have miscalculated when making my booking online as it looked to me that the HIE quotation covered my full stay of 2 nights (as for most other websites), but I discovered (to my cost) that it had quoted the daily rate. Perhaps an expensive error on my part, which obviously influenced my "value for money" rating.

This was neither a budget hotel (for the price charged) nor a quality Holiday Inn. The appearance comes across as a Hotel trying to squeeze as many rooms into the available space as possible. I appreciate the location results in external noise but you do not expect to hear your neighbours during normal conversation levels.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by wings88 Top Quality Customer Service
I have been staying at the Holiday Inn at Oxford Road, Manchester on a regular basis for a number of years and I have always found the management and staff to be very polite and friendly. They have always showed very strong levels of customer focus and if I have needed advice or assistance they have always deal with my inquiries in a very prompt and efficient manner.
A great place to stay in the knowledge that the staff are always available to assist in any way they can.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by UB/AB Great staff; very comfortable!
Very convenient location. Comfortable bed and room. Although we're used to more spacious rooms as well as the option of either one king-size bed or two queen-size beds, and were skeptical about whether the two twin-size beds would be comfortable, They were more than adequte and completely comfortable. The size of the room was good; the open closet area was not roomy enough for our 5-night stay. Could only fit a few hanging items.
