Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by If only the staff at all hotels were this friendly. Our stay was made acceptable by the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff. The problems we had with the door lock were handled well by those members of staff who were involved with resolving it.Check in and out were dealt with efficiently. The breakfast was included in the room price but if you want a full English breakfast you will need to eat elsewhere,the hot option was a sausage,scrambled egg and baked beans. The walls of the rooms must be paper thin as you could hear the people in the next room as well as if you were standing in front of them,this may have been because we had a room with an adjoining door to the room next door. And not amused by the early wake up call by a crane arriving outside of our room with the noisy engine running constantly to set up for the days bungy jumping!!! 20 November 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Too many problems Compared with other Express Inns in Manchester area this Salford Quays Hotel is in need of an overhaul. On my arrival the lift failed at the fifth floor, luckily, with the door open. I reported this and member of staff came up with no idea what to do. The following morning exactly the same problem arose, but at last the staff decided to call the lift maintenance company. Breakfast was the usual miserable offering of sausage and hard scrambled egg, which had been left heating for too long. The drain of the wash hand basin was blocked and took 10 minutes to drain. I reported this to a cleaner, but 12 hours later nothing had been done. 3/10 16 November 2014
