Great location and close to the Lowry so easy to get out of hotel for something to eat. Hotel was in the process of being redecorated during my stay but once complete sure it will be a contemporary hotel. i found the mattress extremly hard and very difficult to sleep on and in my roomthe air con wasnt working. views over the quay. breakfast easy and a good selection.

My wife and I had a great stay at Salford Quays.
We went there on a Leisure Break because our son had been in residence at Salford a few years back at Salford College of Music, so it was supposed to be a nostalgic visit for us. We never found anything which we recognised because there have been so many changes
but nevertheless we enjoyed our stay a great deal,
We visited places around there and the furthest we went was Liverpool. We enjoyed everything we saw.

Very effiecient and friendly staff.
The hotel room was clean and comfortable and most importantly quiet.
I will always plan to use the Holiday Inn Express, Salford Quays for my regular trips to Manchester

We got to the hotel and was given a key for our room which didn't work at all, so went bk to get help and was given another key for same room but when we opened the door we found there was already somebody else in that room I didn't appreciate being stood on the landing with my 7 month old baby and 11 yr old special needs daughter at 9 30 pm and having to go up and down to reception then eventually to the fifth floor room 505 which there was not a cot provided like we had asked for so I would just like to say that I was unhappy with my stay
