Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Broken TV I was bullied into buying a TV. Never used the TV during my stay. The TV when turned on was broke. The manager told me everyone watches TV despite me telling him that I did not arrive back to the hotel till night. Would not let me back into the room until I bought a $385 TV, which I could have bought at Walmart for $150. The worst hotel experience I have had in 25 years of business travel. 07 July 2014

I did arrive to the hotel on Saturday June 28 at 11:15 am, the employee on the front counter told me that my room was not ready, weird!!! When I asked when it will be ready she told me that the my room could be assign if I pay half rate for the getting to the room before 1:00 p.m.. I ask for the manager and for my surprise the manager was not in the shift, he will arrive at 2:00 p.m. I asked her to check why I need to pay half rate for just two hours if she has the room available. She limit to say that is the rule that the manager establish... she apologizes multiple times, but that is the rule. Employees should be empower to make decisions that to not harm the company but satisfy the customer. I will definitely stay in Holiday Inn again, but maybe not in this one 06 July 2014

Me había quedado hace ya algunos años en este hotel con una muy aceptable opinión en todos los aspectos, sobre todo por la inmejorable ubicación en la señorial Paseo de la Reforma. Veo ahora que los años han hecho literalmente estragos, desde el estado lamentable de las toallas y cobijas hasta el estruendoso ruido del equipo de aire acondicionado, acusando años de uso y desatención. Aunado a lo anterior, una asignación equivocada, extraña y a más alto costo en mi reservación, necesidad de que una persona de Mantenimiento tuviera que abrir mi habitación (¿?) "es que no tenemos Sistema para darle las tarjetas señor" y otros menesteres han hecho que en mi reencuentro con este hotel, mi evaluación sobre el mismo sea un lánguido Regular. Lástima que no haya tenido la precaución de leer las abundantes críticas vertidas en este espacio y que evidentemente giran en torno a los mismos temas. 01 July 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Es como dormir en cama de Hospital En mi reciente estadía en el DF, tuve que alojarme en el Hotel Holiday Inn Express Reforma- el hotel está muy bien ubicado en la avenida reforma, al par de un centro comercial muy variado y de buen gusto. Lastimosamente no puedo decir lo mismo del hotel, es un hotel totalmente pasado de moda, una renovación le vendría bien, las camas son extremadamente incómodas, han adquirido colchones ortopédicos full, los cuales son ideales para personas con problemas o cirugías de columna, pero no necesariamente aplica a todo tipo de persona, no tienen otras opciones de habitaciones ni de colchones. Los baños no ofrecen nada de comodidad, tienen aspecto sucio, cerámica y juntas de cerámica enmohecidas, la temperatura del cuarto es difícil de regular, además de ser un sistema ruidoso, y la barra de desayunos deja mucho que desear, desde la presentación hasta la calidad de la comida proporcionada, al final mejor opté por comprar mis desayunos fuera. NO recomiendo este hotel, no vale la pena su precio vs. lo que ofrece, hay más opciones en el paseo Reforma que están en mucho mejor condicion. 08 June 2014

The breakfast was very poor (ex. no hot milk) and the vending machines were only in one floor. I don't recommend the hotel for anybody. 27 May 2014

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Unforgivable mistake I checked in at night and dropped my bags in the room without turning on the lights as I wanted to get a bite to eat. When I came back half an hour later I saw someone's suitcase in the room. I had been assigned a room that was already occupied. Thank god I did not walk in on them! When I went to the reception I was told that this had already happened once, as if this was a viable excuse. The blame was placed on the cleaning lady. I don't really care whose fault it was, being given an occupied room is unforgivable. The bed was also incredibly uncomfortable. I am a platinum member with IHG so I do frequent the Holiday Inn Express Brand but I would never recommend this particular one. 28 April 2014

And the shopping mall is next the hotel so it is very easy to contact. And the room is big and clean. The beds are very comfortable. I've use this hotel 2 times last year and this time. If I come to Mexico City again, I will book here again. 27 April 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Buen servicio, buena habitacion..un par de fallas. En términos generales el Hotel es una buena opción. Bien ubicado y con buenas instalaciones. Habitaciones limpias y amplias. Buen desayuno aunque después del tercer día se hace monótono. Hubo un dia en el que no limpiaron las habitaciones y no dejaron toallas limpias. Corrigiendo esos detalles se convertiría en una excelente opción. Importante mencionar que el personal siempre fue muy cortes y atento. 23 April 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mexico City.....less some sleep I love this hotel as I stay there at least once a month. However, the only flaw is that their beds are hard as a rock. I am a side sleeper and have had had a few nights where it has been difficult to get a full night's rest. If you are OK with that then you can't get a better value for the money in the area 31 March 2014

The room is comfortable as well as the bed, pillows; Internet connection is very good; the bathroom and shower are also very good. The staff has been very attentive. The breakfast is fair because there are not many options. However it is the first time that I find the worst towels I have seen in a hotel of any rating and I have travel a lot. The towels have been very used because they have a lot of threads and holes, in other words in serious bad conditions to be used for a guest. I supposed that the next night I could receive regular towels but again the same and maybe worst, so I claimed to the manager and they finally changed. As a matter of fact I took some pictures to remember this bad experience. I guess I had a back luck or I got a room that was reserved for a joke. Finally, other than this inconvenience and the enhancement of the breakfast options I would recommend this hotel as good. 15 March 2014

Included Breakfast is quite disappointing but what was really frightening was the room cleanliness. The carpet and the desk chair had more stains than I ever seen before, it was awful. And I'm sure it wasn't just from the past couple of days, it was in deplorable condition I was disgusted even to walk on it. I made my comment at the front desk and all I received was a "thank you for your comment" I even showed some photographs to the front desk staff and they were shocked, but still didn't do anything. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Me senti humillado y con mucho coraje de hospedarme en su Hotel... Llegue al Hotel despues de una dia agotador (jueves 20 Febrero 2014) ya tenia un dia en el Hotel. Le comente a la recepcionista que el boletito (que a proposito era una copia) que me dieron para el desayuno lo habia dejado en mi portafolios en la Oficina que si me podria dar otro para el dia de mañana y poder desayunar antes de salir... y la respuesta de la Recepcionista fue que NO. Creo que me trato muy mal ya que pienso que mi apariencia no es el un pepenador (con perdon de ellos) o un aprovechado. la verdad es que solo queria un buen servicio de desayuno y salir a Mi oficina sin problemas de este tipo. me tuve que ir a desayunar a un lado de su Hotel. en un centro comercial que esta a lado (Restaurante El Bajio) por cierto muy sabroso. Por favor cuiden a sus clientes.. por lo pronto yo voy a dar las referencias de su hotel a las personas que conosco conforme la experiencia que tuve con ustedes. SERGIO JIMENEZ GARZA 24 February 2014

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel and Location The staff is professional, friendly, and accommodating. The room I stayed in can use a little more maintenance care, it had several noticeable stains on the carpet, and the towels definitely need to be replaced. However, please note that the housekeeping service we received everyday was exceptional, and it was nice returning to a comfortable clean room every night. The hotel is centrally located next to a large shopping and dinning complex. I recommend this hotel, and I would stay here when I return. 02 February 2014
