Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Anniversary Getaway My husband and I stayed here for an Anniversary getaway. This was the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We were close enough to the "city" of San Francisco without having the hassle of the traffic and paying $50-70 a night to park our car over night at a hotel in the "city" . It was a quiet place to relax, recharge and sleep after a day of walking and sight seeing. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start our day. The staff was very friendly. We would stay here again and suggest it to others. May 3, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Pet Friendly but No Bargain I appreciate this hotel for being pet friendly and have stayed 3 times. I find the staff friendly. Breakfast is okay - as good as any free motel breakfast. There seems to be a shortage of tables during the breakfast rush but this time one of the staff directed me to an overflow room. I appreciated that. My first two stays were very satisfactory. This last stay was less so as the room smelled dreadful and there was garbage strewn all over outside the door. (It was mostly cleaned up by the next afternoon.) I checked in late without a reservation and knowing that they were almost full, I didn't ask for another room. I knew I would be gone all day long. Outside of the smell the room seemed clean though somewhat worn. I think the rates are high for the quality of the motel but I recognize that this is a reflection of being in Mill Valley. I will probably try another place next time I am in Mill Valley with my small dog (at least two or three times a year), but more for cost reasons. I assume that should I stay here again, I won't have a smelly room. May 1, 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed at nonavailability of first floor accommodations Although I had specifically requested first floor accommodations we were told that they were unavailable when we checked in around 630pm. This caused us considerable aggravation with our luggage and my Parkinson's disease. Also, since we have stayed with you for over 5 years 2 to 3 times per year we feel that the room prices have rissen too high especially for multiday stays. April 29, 2015
