Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great hotel in Central CA We really just needed a comfortable place to sleep during our stay in Modesto. The experience here was great! We just flew in from London and were given a really quiet room. We were impressed by the size and quality of the room and were so glad we went ahead and booked the 2-bedroom suite as we were traveling with our two children. The room was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful and the free breakfast was impressive! My only suggestion on the breakfast would be to include a few other "healthy" options, but my kids devoured those cinnamon rolls, french toast and pancakes! : ) Each time we'd return or leave, someone at the desk would say "hello" or wish us a good day. This kind of service is hard to find and it was just what we needed during our holiday stay! We actually looked forward to going to sleep at night as the beds were comfy too! Thanks Holiday Inn Modesto/Salida! We'll be back when our travels take us that way once again! 03 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Brief Stay in Salida I stayed in Salida for 2-nights following a planned 3-night stay. However, due to travel necessities was only able to stay 2-nights even though I had pre-paid for three. Cynthia Thompson the General Manager was sympathetic to my plight and refunded the one night back to my credit card. This small gesture in addition to the level of attention to details make my brief visit to the Stanislaus valley a pleasant one. I would not hesitate in recommending this establishment. 01 January 2015
