When we arrived at 9:30 PM our room for 2 adults and 1 teenage girl, with 2 Queen beds turned out to be a single King, Accessible room. The desk clerk was seemed very unconcerned at first and just kept repeating that they did not have any 2 queen rooms left and that they were booked for the night. When asked if everyone had checked in, she stated that only two parties had not checked in, but they were king rooms also. When I insisted that something had to be done due to our granddaughter being in the room with us, she finally offered to compensate us for the room the first night and add a roll away bed. This, I found to be acceptable.
However, when I received the bill under the door two days later for check out, we had not been compensated for either of the two nights stay. I went down the hall to the desk and the night clerk was sitting in the breakfast area. After a few seconds she said "Can I help you? I'm over here." She never attempted to come to the desk so I walked over and showed her the bill and told her we had not been compensated for the first night. After going over to the desk, she called up the account on the computer and then stated looking through a log book. When I tried to show her my reservation, she snapped that she had to go by what was in "here" (indicating the log book). She did compensate us for one night, so the problem was corrected to my satisfaction.

My family and I only stay at this hotel when we travel to Mooresville NC. Great area, great breakfast, clean rooms, and couldn't ask for better staff! They make us feel at home Everytime. We can't wait for our next visit!

We will definitely staff at Holiday Inn Express hotels from now on.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was very good.
