Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dang it was HOT in NYC It was very nice to be able to check in to our room and cool off before going out to see the sites! 17 July 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Location! Only a couple blocks from the center of Times Square--Outstanding Free Breakfast--most choices I have seen. Staff super responsive to any questions / concerns. Great concierge for restaurant & sight seeing advice. 10 minutes from Play district. 16 July 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Pleasant stay. Thank you! Very much satisfied with your property and service. 16 July 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very enjoyable 4 night stay Thoroughly enjoyed our 4 night stay. Convenient location. There could have been more room in the breakfast room. One morning we ate in the lobby. 15 July 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful city view from a clean comfortable room. We loved the beautiful view of the city and can always count on The Holiday Inn Express for a clean comfortable room and a great free hot breakfast. 14 July 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Staff The staff at the front desk we so helpful and kind. We needed assistance with places to eat and directions. They were so helpful and so willing to help. Feel that they went above and beyond for us. 13 July 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good Hotel to stay Position is nice, not too noisy street not far from Time Square and subway (5 min on foot). If you look for a stylish hotel you probably will be disappointed. But if you look for a very good staff and service, good breakfast, very good Wi-Fi connection, here is the place to stay. Rooms are small but confortable, provided with everything. They are not so beautiful but once you get used the place is nice. Rooms are cleans and well maintained by the staff. Reception staff is very gentle and provides you any help. Often they offer free cookie. Staff responsible for baggage management, taxi booking and loading is excellent too. Small defects: - breakfast room small and cold - the shower hose cannot be unplugged from the wall, making hard to clean some parts of the body - No bidè in the toilette I would suggest this hotel to my friends. Thank you and see at my next stay in NY! 11 July 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by top Lage, Die Lage des Hotels ist super.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Great Great Location and CLEAN! Times Square. Very CLEAN and GREAT location. Will use this again. Great front desk personnel. 3rd time we have used this unit. Great room/location/clean. Breakfast was a struggle with the crowd. This is NYC. Go out and eat! 10 July 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by New York Times Square Tiny, tiny, tiny, tiny. Marvelous breakfast. Close to Times Square 10 July 2012
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Basic hotel, clean rooms and good location Good clean room although rooms were smaller than we expected. Breakfast was simple although the breakfast area was small and could not accomodate everybody during peak times. Best of all, wifi and breakfast were complimentary. 10 July 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect spot for exploring the Big Apple This Holiday Inn, is a 10 minute walk from Times Square, but that's good, as it was like returning to an oasis of calm! 4 of us, age ranges 50 - 60 had been saving for 9 years to go to NY for our 'special birthdays'. We chose the Holiday Inn as we could have a room which would sleep he 4 of us. From the time we arrived, we found nothing was too much trouble for the extremely helpful staff. We came back to our room one evening to find helium balloons, mini cakes and a card - a wonderful surprise, compliments of the staff. This hotel is small (comparitively), has smallish rooms and a lack of communal areas, but this is more than made up for with it's position and the inclusive, substantial breakfast - mmmhh, the cinammon buns were awesome! Thank you, all the Holiday Inn staff! We'll be back! 10 July 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Stay in NY Not a great experience other than food and staff No consideration for elevator being down for 2 days of our 3 day stay The conceirge did not and was not versed on tours and activities in City Had to look up everything on computer which we could have done and her favourite saying was "I'm not sure or I don't know 10 July 2012
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waiting for the lift, a breakfast seat and a working TV The average time waiting for the lift to descend was 11 minutes. The only quick time was at 6.00am in the morning. The breakfast room was very busy most of the time so that getting a seat took a long time. It took three attempts to get a TV that showed ESPN. The first two requests were ignored. The third attempt resulted in staff swapping the set with that in another room. This also happened to at least 3 other guests. However, most of the staff did their best to be pleasant and helpful. Finally I left my collection $4or $5 of quarters on the table - I collect them for laundry - and they disappeared. Despite extensive enquiries by the hotel, they were not returned and I was not compensated. Even though I was promised some extra points they were not added as far as I am aware. All in all a forgettable experience! 10 July 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Compact and Comfy Although I arrived early they accommodated me, made me a priority member and gave me a beautiful view of the city. Hotel and room was neat and clean and the staff courteous. Normally I would stay at pricier hotels in Manhattan however this will be my new "go to" place to stay. It is literally close to everything. The room is small but HEY it's New York! It's definitely compact and comfy. 10 July 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 Excellent Staff and Service The well-travelled Anthony Bourdain once said, "People makes the place." Indeed, this is true of H Inn Express Times Square. Throughout my two weeks stay, staff like Alex and Jaime, have made the visit remarkable and memorable. For example, my bags did not arrive on the same flight and were delivered 30 hours after I arrived NYC. Alex went out of his way to keep on calling up the airline to follow up. It was beyond his duty and ordinary course of hotel service. The breakfast crew were super efficient and always smiling and ready to serve. Yvet is a stand-out. The hotel location is very convenient. The other secret is it's near 9th ave, where visitors can really find a wide range of cuisine suiting all budgets. 10 July 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good location This was an easy walk to times square. The weather was HOT and the staff made lemonade which was refreshing. The only problem. We had was the property has 230 rooms and 2 elevators. And one of them was broken for 2 days. Lucky I. Only had to walk down 5. Levels instead of 30 to get breakfast. The breakfast staff is a great staff. Refilling and cleaning and just so efficient team. The room was a little dark and on the small side. 09 July 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Rooms are small and basic, but great location and service The rooms are quite small and basic for an American hotel (par for the course in London). However, this is part of the express chain and the location right by Times Square and near Madison Square Garden is just fantastic. Having just come from a five star boutique hotel where service was lousy and you were afraid to move anything in the room in case they nickled and dimed you for some extraneous charge, I was very happy as a Priority Club member to be greeted as such at Reception and then to find I had free wireless internet and free local calls (very useful for me as one of my best friends lives in the city). Staffing levels were always sufficient to cope with guests. On departure I was very early and the receptionist asked me if she could get me a coffee whilst I waited for a taxi - a nice touch. 27 June 2012
