Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by 5th Avenue - Great Location, Poor hotel Hotel was in a great location, close to time square, grand central and more. However the service was well below standard for an IHG property. Front desk service was very short with me, and did not look me in the eye or welcome me and my party (which is always a must as I am a Spire member and frequent traveler). The entire hotel is very small, often bumping into people while walking through the hallways. I had to eat breakfast in my room as there was only 15-20 chairs at the breakfast bar, the food was poor and had the same selections each day. I would not stay at this hotel again, and would recommend my friends/family to search elsewhere when heading to the city. June 16, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by No rest for the weary This was definitely not a shining experience for the IHG brand. I've stayed in this location many times before this, yet, upon check in, I was not acknowledged as a return visitor, nor was I acknowledged as a Spire Elite member. Further, they weren't able to get me into a room ahead of 3 pm and I was definitely not offered an upgrade. My room was on the 19th floor, which was nice since it sheltered me from street noise. However, the doors are definitely not soundproof. Every time someone opened a door or talked in the hallway, it was disruptive...especially at midnight when I had to be up early the next day. Also, there was no sleep timer on the tv, which I found odd. I finally found what I thought was a sleep timer, but it was for the satellite box only...it shut off but the tv remained on. *Sigh* Finally, there was no way to eat breakfast in the small area next to the lobby. It was, quite literally, jam packed...luckily there are enough neighborhood options, but the free breakfast is supposed to be an amenity, so that's disappointing. There are MANY choices when staying in NYC...I'll be staying somewhere else on my next visit. June 15, 2016

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great Staff All staff were very friendly and helpful. The front counter staff arranged our bus tours and our car service to the airport. The location of the hotel is ideal for Time Square and area sites. The breakfast variety was good and although the dining area was small and crowded, we had no issues bringing our food back to our rooms. Housekeeping was very efficient and our room was very clean including our washroom. Although a bit pricey but not unusual for the area, we would recommend this hotel and we would also stay here again. June 13, 2016
