Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by For Just Sleep a Good Hotel If you plan to be out and about in New York this is a good hotel for you to drop your things and go. If you are looking for a hotel to just relax at while in New York I wouldn't recommend it. Since its on 29th and everything is 20 to 30 blocks away (Except Madison Square Garden) you will need to get a cab or hoof it ALOT. The Staff is nice and willing to help with your needs. The elevators are cramped and take awhile to get onto in the mornings. If this is an issue get a lower floor for ease. The rooms are cramped if it is 2 or more people, and the outside the room noise (hallways) is extremely LOUD. The staff cleaning the and the other hotel guests are loud in the mornings so relaxing will be an issue. We were in and out alot; however, after walking all day it was difficult to get to sleep with the noise outside the room. I'm a safety guy and if it sounds like people are right outside your door all night then its hard to slip off to slumber. Once again it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. If you are just going to vacation and will not be in your room most the day this would be a good place for you. 10 December 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Good location and comfortable bed - but very noisy air-con! Very comfortable bed, ok bathroom and good location....but the air-con in the room was extremely noisy and the breakfast area was very crowded and no porcelain only plastic! 10 December 2014

However, everything was really nice and exceeded my expectations, from room to breakfast to location. It was pricey but then this is NYC. 09 December 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Thanksgiving week The noise level outside was ridiculous. Trash truck comes twice a week for the building across the street around 11pm-2am. Drivers are constantly honking their horn from the evening to the early morning hours. I wore earplugs as well...not much help. Staff was friendly though! If you want a good nights sleep, I recommend you stay outside of the main city area. 08 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great location and friendly service Great hotel only a couple of blocks from MSG and Penn Station. The staff is super friendly and the hotel is modern and very clean. The only negatives were that the rooms are very small and do not have a refrigerator. There's only one ice machine and that was in the lobby. Most rooms in Manhattan are small but this one seemed smaller than most. Overall I'd rather sacrifice a little space for a clean room and friendly staff! I would recommend this hotel to anyone. 08 December 2014
