The bed was actually comfortable and smelled of "Frebreeze", but most of the pillows had a very, very strong smell of something like "Febreeze". I had to change pillows 3 to 4 times to find one not so strong w/any smell. The maid service and front desk assistance and professionalism was outstanding. The hotel itself was in a great location for restaurant/conveniences store (especially since we had an a very rare Ice Storm). I did have a little problem w/the vending machines being right next to my room. I woke a few times due to the ice machine noises, but other than that I enjoyed staying at this hotel.

My check in process was very easy. No problem. When I attempted to turn on my TV later in the day, it would not come on. I tried the remote and the side of the TV. No luck. I called the front desk and immediately they sent someone up who checked the TV and all the plugs but was unable to get it to work. He went down and spoke with the front desk and they called me immediately. They offered me another room which I accepted. I was in town for a conference so I was on a time crunch at that very moment but they switched me over immediately. I just had to move all my stuff. luckily I had packed light for this trip. I had to relocate to the first floor...No to happy about moving on to another floor but at least they addressed the problem. When I entered the room it was a handicapped room. Not very comfortable for me but the spaces were larger and it was a clean room. There were school buses that checked in after me so there were kids up and down the hallways. I turned on the heat and it took a minute to warm up but it did ok. Through out the night, an order like strong bug spray kept emitting from the heater when it cycled on and off. So I didn't rest most of the night and I was just to tired to move again. Lucky for me my conference was cut short and since I only lived an hour away, I checked out and went home. Next time ask if a handicapped room is ok even if it is all you have left or since the TV worked in that room and it was empty switch it out instead of the person in the room.

Front desk clerk seemed to be having a bad day, not very friendly, other wise had good stay.
