Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by uncomfortable beds, and not the best hospitality The room rates are fairly inexpensive, and the breakfast was nice. But, the beds were not comfortable (it was like sleeping in a bowl -- edges were firm, but the middle just caved in. Same goes for the couch. And the "suites" are suites in name only. It's basically a bigger room with a couch. No door to close, or TV on the 'living' side of the suite. Finally, we happened to stop by the hotel on our way to visit family. Our reservation was for a few days later on our return trip, but on the drive out, we needed to stop for a bathroom break and happened to be at the exit for the hotel. There is virtually nothing else nearby at this exit. The restaurant next door's bathroom was flooded, so we thought we'd try to use the public bathroom off the lobby at the hotel. The clerk at the front desk told my wife that the bathroom was only for registered guests. I get that from a security standpoint, you don't want a bunch of strangers wandering around the hotel, but it still seems pretty poor for folks in the hospitality business to turn away someone who just needs to use the bathroom. Have some basic compassion/decency. Will not stay here again. 26 February 2015

More variety of healthy breakfast choices would be great. ie egg beaters for scrambled eggs and low fat English muffins / bagels. Still much better than a lot of places we have stayed in. 18 February 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Hope the new construction doesn't change quality I see that the hotel is being enlarged. I hope that the friendliness of the staff and the maintenance of the facility stays the same high quality. We travel down 90 to stay here for the quiet and friendliness of the staff. Would hate to see this Holiday Inn turn into another Splash Lagoon. Also, the local eating establishments need to be encouraged to deliver to the hotel. We were told that only one restaurant in Northeast delivers. My husband was ill and we could not go out but did not want what was offered by the delivery . 17 February 2015

I only wish they'd have luggage caddies available - there is only room to set down one suitcase in the room off of the floor - not sure where HI expects the second person in a double room to put their suitcase, but what do I know... 11 February 2015
