Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 Quiet room with great staff Don't be put off by the exterior of the hotel. Staff were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room was clean, spacious and comfortable however the breakfast area was a little cramped when 4 or 5 guests were trying to get breakfast at the same time. The food at breakfast was nice and hot and in abundance. Very pleasant stay, would use again. Thanks Holiday Inn Express Norwich :) May 20, 2015

The free breakfast is very tasty and I was delighted to find it included hot items (I was expecting a continental breakfast) as well as fruit, croissants, cereals and toast. The staff make this hotel special. They are friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning May 14, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Friendly staff, shabby hotel We have stayed in a number of Holiday Inns, including Express, during our 10 years or more together and we have always been very satisfied - until now. Bedroom furniture and carpets, reception carpets need replacing - long past their 'sell by date'. The bed was ok, not the best we have had in Holiday Inns by a long way. However - the staff were friendly! Don't take this as an example of Holiday Inns in general. May 6, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Car Parking issues As an IHG Priority Club Member I was asked to sign the register on arrival to speed up the booking in process. This booking in procedure also requires your vehicle registration, if applicable. Unfortunately and despite recording my vehicle registration, I have now received a parking ticket for £100 as it appears that this part of the booking in process was not actioned by the reception staff. What is the point of offering a service if you don't actually follow it up? April 30, 2015
