The hotel was OK. Patrice and Dorothy were very helpful and made you feel at home. The internet was one of the worst I have seen in 25 plus years of travel.

Overall, this is a cut above your typical budget airport hotel. Stayed here several times in the past for meetings and usually am pleased, but this time there were problems. A major annoyance was the TV set turning itself on in the middle of the night so I got NO sleep. I am assuming it was due to a remote being used in an adjoining room. Either that, or a ghost! I finally had to unplug the set to get some sleep. Also, I had been upgraded to a Jacuzzi suite, and the hot tub jets did not work -- very disappointing. On the positive side, Dorothy at the front desk has excellent customer service skills, and the entire staff was friendly and helpful.

This is one of my favorite HIEs. You simply can't beat the location -- it is literally across the street from the airport. But . you'd never know that inside. Rooms are exceptionally quiet. I stay here often, but on this last stay, I particularly want to commend a staff member, Dorothy. I am temporarily disabled and in a wheelchair and she was particularly friendly and helpful in accommodating me.

Great hotel to stay in if you have a flight to catch. I would not recommend if you are trying to be in the city for tourist attractions. Comfortable bed, very accommodating staff, and decent breakfast (I would not eat the eggs). The shuttle (tip the driver) is a nice attribute, but it is a first come first serve basis. There are a ton of Uber's in the area if you need a plan B. The maintenance man helped me drive the luggage cart into the elevator when I was stuck. Front desk was very upbeat and nice when I checked in.
We stayed in the area in September and the BART did not go directly to the airport. You had to catch a shuttle from the BART to the airport and that was extremely stressful. The shuttle alone was worth a good portion of our hotel stay. (The BART now goes directly to the airport, but I cannot speak of the stress level it brings)

Good airport hotel with easy access and shuttle service to Oakland airport. Reasonable rates and standard Holiday Inn amenities.

This particular venue was extremely clean and well-lighted.The staff was helpful and went beyond the call of duty by seeing that we had hot food available for the first morning shuttle of the day at 4AM, which was GREATLY appreciated.

Professional Staff.....Clean Room....clean bathroom.....could barely hear the airplanes, and I do mean barely. When Heat/Air on, could not hear them. For a business trip, close to the airport was a good choice. Was concerned about the potential for noise and once in the room and resting, it was an overall very good stay. Food, could have been better and fresher, however, it to was good. Bed is Awesome! Nice big TV. Could have had lamps with plugs built in for incidentals that we all come with.

Shuttle service was VERY slow for pick up either from the BART at airport or even worse when we arrived by air. Had to wait in excess of 30 minutes when hotel is only 5 minutes away.
Room had a distinct smell of pipe smoke.
