Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We love the consistency of this particular hotel We have stayed here a lot since our daughter decided to go to college in the SF area and then, after graduating, launched into a career in this area, as well. We always knew what to expect at this location, and we appreciated this. However, we will not be staying here again because the hotel recently began charging for parking. Since we almost never fly into OAK (preferring to drive from Southern California) it's apparent that we do not need to be near the airport but chose to stay here anyway just because we like it so much. The new nightly parking fee, though...uh-uh. That's it for us. Especially when we saw that the huge hotel parking lot wasn't even full on a Raiders home game weekend. Until this hotel stops charging bona fide guests for parking, we won't be back. September 22, 2015

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Dirty and needs upgrading We have noticed over the past few years negligence regarding the cleanliness of the overall hotel. Carpet stains, poor quality of linens, smoke smell in non-smoking rooms. We have also had problems in getting timely airport transportation - many times having to call 2 - 3 times before getting a response. The hotel is only 5 minutes away; this should not be an issue. Breakfast was good for a continental breakfast. Good variety. One thing they don't tell you is that you have to pay to park at the hotel. September 15, 2015
