Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My least favorite IHG stay Overall, I felt this hotel just suffered from laziness of the staff. Small things that make IHG stand out were not present here, e.g. 24-hour coffee availability, a receipt under the door on check-out morning, etc. I even had to give them my card again upon check-out. My wi-fi connection was absolutely miserable (as were a few of my common business travelers), and I resorted to leaving and working at a Starbucks instead. The front desk was commonly left unmanned, though I could hear staff chatting (not doing business) behind the wall. With no bell or other way to alert them, I commonly had to wait. Someone would always emerge, surprised to see me there. As if that isn't what the front desk is for. Breakfast options were minimal to any other IHG (breakfast-included) property where I've stayed, and I just felt a lack of discipline/work ethic across the staff here. As a Spire Elite member, I will definitely will stay in IHG hotels again. I will never stay in this one again. November 28, 2015

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exceeded Expectations I am a regular patron of Holiday Inn Express and as usual, they exceeded my expectations. Upon arrival, there was an over-booking for the room I requested. Instead of turning me away, or down-grading me, they upgraded me to a suite! This was a beautiful room, right next to the elevators. My only note was the door was extremely heavy and somewhat difficult to open. However, once inside, I was as comfortable as I would be at home. I definitely recommend this chain and will stay again in the near future! October 28, 2015

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst HIG hotel in my travel history I arrived to the hotel around 11pm at night after a long day of business. I checked into my room and when I got up to my room it turned out to be a smoking room. Please note that I booked a NON SMOKING room in advance and it was also a PREPAID room stay. I have asthma and I absolutely dislike smoking. I called down to the front desk and spoke with Tammy. Tammy stated that she had no other rooms available, was completely rude and absolutely no help. I tried to sleep in the filthy air but after 5 hours I had to simply leave because it was so disgusting. I then went to check out and not only was not given an express check out I was also told I could not get a receipt for my stay. This hotel stay was my worst ever at the hundreds of different HIG hotels I have stayed at. October 20, 2015
