Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent service The customer service I experiences during my stay was absolutely first class (better than some of the 5 star Hotels I have stayed in). The rooms however, were very tired, the heating system old fashioned and almost impossible to get a good temperature. One final point - I like to listen to the radio rather than to watch tv and for large periods of time the bbc tv service was unavailable (via freeview). I have not experienced this in any hotel and I ended up having to use the bbc iplayer service through my mobile phone. On my first visit to the Hotel, the tv in my room would not support radio through the tv at all. In this time of advanced communication, I do find this frustrating. 22 December 2014

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Shame about the beds! Stayed for 2 nights due to the location of the hotel.We were having to attend a hospital appointment in Glasgow and had to break our journey. I usually like the brand but the dreadful bed meant we did not sleep much at all. There is no obvious benefit to being a member. The staff were great. 16 December 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good hotel with good access to road and public transport links Nice clean modern hotel on outskirts of city within easy reach of main road network but also with good access to public transport links to all attractions in central Scotland. hotel provided excellent guest facilities and was excellent value. The staff provided friendly courteous service at all times and enhanced my stay. Room was well serviced during my stay and I look forward to staying at this facility again. 12 December 2014
