Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Cold and not that great Sad to say that I was disappointed with my stay. The hotel was cold, the food was re-heated packaged food and the room was cold. The pillows were identical (no firm or soft) and the mattress was uncomfortable. I went home to catch up on my sleep!!! The times of breakfast at the weekend were too late, the toilet squeaked when you sat on it, the shower trickled. NOT great! 23 January 2015

We are always greeted by the friendly reception staff who always seem to remember us and welcome us back.We look forward to our next visit ,hopefully in the next couple of months.Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable.This time we stayed for 4 nights which gave us time to look round the area. 12 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Spotless, spacious room We stayed for just the one night, which was an excellent experience from check-in until we left. The staff were friendly and accommodating and, best of all, efficient. The room was spacious and very clean, as were the public areas we used. Breakfast could do with a few more choices but was of good quality. Overall, this property is very well-maintained and we wouldn't hesitate to stay again. 02 January 2015

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very welcoming We arrived quite late and very tired and was relieved when informed there were 2 rooms available for us. The manager was very accommodating without our having to request by providing 2 rooms near to each other. The rooms were clean, warm and equipped for our needs and the area was nice and quiet. Shower was nice and hot with enough preasure . Negatives were the mattress was badly in need of replacing. Used the pedal bin in the bathroom only to discover at my peril there was no pedal only metal to put your foot onto and with bare feet was quite uncomfortable. The breakfast was well presented and hot but sadly for my own taste I missed the Bacon. Thank you for making our exhausting journey a little more tolerable. 02 January 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Above and beyond customer care We use this hotel every year now when we visit my family in Peterborough. This year we had to make a change to the booking due to my father being terminally ill and wanted to spend his last Christmas with him. Although we had booked a 'no change' room, the staff made the changes, with no quibble what so ever. It meant that my father's last Christmas was spent with his family around him and I will be eternally grateful. Well done Holiday Inn Express ... a company with a customer service team that has a heart. 30 December 2014
