We had ants and bugs in our room. They were all over the bathroom, living area, and even on the beds. They couldn't move us to another room until the next day. My wife and kids had trouble sleeping because they were afraid of things crawling on them while they slept. The room they moved us to the next day was nice, and we only saw a few ants here and there, so we considered this an imporovement. For our misery, the hotel gave us a whopping 20% discount off the first night's stay.

Was not my first choice of hotels in the area, but the friendliness of the staff and the room size/cleanliness totally sold me on this hotel chain. It will bring me back again.

This hotel is a good place to say when passing through the central valley of California. It's a relatively new property that is clean and well kept. The breakfast area is well sized for the number of rooms in the hotel. It can be a little loud outside the hotel ... with the wind and trucking activities. Of course the showerhead is underpowered as most hotels.

This a good choice for the area. Probably better than most in this vicinity. I generally like to stay at Holiday Inn Express because of the good breakfast option.

I arrived at hotel about 345 am when checking in I asked the staff member if could have a late checkout due to the time I arrived and its never been an issue at any other Holiday inn that i have stayed at. The staff member pretty much stated no that I would have to ask the morning staff member. I then stated "wow this is the first time I have heard that" I then walked to get my bags and went to the room where the TV was not working. The following morning when leaving i told the staff member about the issue with both the tv not working and night associate, and she said was "sorry about that". The reason this is an issue with me is when I do stay at Holiday Inn it is due to work and I usually arrive at the hotel 2-3 am and its never been an issue. I'am truly debating on ever going back to Holiday inn.

Comfortable clean room in Porterville -- not much to choose from in this little town, so don't go expecting a 4 star experience. For the level of hotel, it is top of its class. Breakfast is standard prefab eggs and sausage, but having turkey sausage is a nice touch. Staff here is excellent and quickly responsive to needs -- especially in the breakfast room!

Our daughter lives in Springvile. When we come to visit from Texas we ALWAYS stay at the Holiday Inn Express. The staf is so welcoming. You feel at home immediately. They are quick to accommodate your request if at all possible. On this stay we had a an issue with the TV that and it was replaced promptly. Breakfast is always good. Just a great place to stay. Highly recommend it.
