Even though this hotel was a little smaller and older than some Holiday Inn Expresses, it was very clean. The staff was very friendly. A small error was made on the bill by the night desk person but it was quickly corrected in the morning. It was located near some restaurants and the British pub that we picked was excellent. The room was very quiet so we slept well.

It was just an overall great experience. The room was very quiet, bed was comfortable and got a very good night's sleep as we had been traveling for several hours. Having a nice, warm breakfast in the morning got us going on the last of our trip in a great way.

When we checked in the first room we were given, it smelled highly of cleaning fluid and had a terrible odor. I checked with the front desk about the problem and a young lady came and observed the odor and quickly moved us to another room which was acceptable to my wife and I. After we had left the hotel for dinner, we realized that we had left our hanging clothes in the closet of the first room. I called the front desk and Linnette(?) took care of this and moved our clothes to the new room while we were away. The only problem that we had was that the Friday breakfast staff person refused our request to make more eggs as we came down to the breakfast 30 minutes before it closed. She said that it would take at least 25 minutes to make the eggs. Another couple came down a few minutes after us and wanted the eggs also and the person immediately made and brought out the eggs. It took maybe 5 minutes. By the time this happened we had finished our breakfast. We had no problems with the Saturday or Sunday breakfast. Overall, we had an excellent stay and we were very impressed by the kindness of the front desk staff during our entire stay. We stayed three nights.

The bed was so nice and clean. We had no problem sleeping. It was very comfortable.

The staff is always courteous and helpful.
Rooms are clean and comfortable.
I stay at Holiday Inn Express anytime I can as I find
the rates to be reasonable and the facilities nice and clean.

I stayed in this hotel overnight on my to Florida. After putting my child to bed, she complained about a small bug on a pillow. I shook the pillow and did not think anything else about it. When she work up the next morning, she was complaining about more small bugs in the bed. I walked into the bathroom and seen more on the floor. I immediately got my child dressed and left the hotel. On the way out, I told a staff member about the bugs. His only questions to me was concerning my room number and whether I told the staff the night before. I was unaware that there was a bug issue in the room. I submitted a concern via IHG website and did not receive a phone call from anyone. I called IHG customer service today and was told to contact the hotel directly. I called the hotel and spoke with a male staff member who told me the issue was taken care of. I asked him when was this completed and he did not know the answer. I may not stay in this hotel again; however, there is a serious concern of a bug problem.
