The hotel was fine for the price. Not so nice, but not horrible either. The only huge problem was that the internet was horrifically bad. Also the room could have looked nice, but not such a big deal.
The saving grace was an amazing, staff that was AMAZINGLY helpful

Just stayed for four nights with the BA package. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Special appreciation to Dominic, who checked us in and given directions for travelling around. He also help us to print out the train and tour bookings confirmation, as unable to do it from the internet point in the lobby. The room was clean, fresh towels everyday, fresh bed sheets after three nights, coffee making facility- kettle needs to unplug manually when boiled; only 2 TV channels in English -- Sky News and BBC World. You will feel very warm when you enter the room, we need to switch off the heating fan (no air-con), open the balcony door to cool down with the noise from the rail station below. Plumbing noise might wake you up in the middle of the night. Bed was OK for the tired bodies after day long walking. Breakfast buffet was OK, besides scramble eggs and beacon, there were quite a few choice of bread, cakes, canned fruits and cereals. Coffee from the machines were OK. Staff were attentive and refill dishes frequently. The location was not too bad, just add 10-15 mins to your journey. The worse bit of the stay was the wifi internet access, even you have all the patient in the world, you would feel upset and give up. Although I got it free as IHG Rewards member, it's totally disappointed and unreliable!!!!!
